Arthur was furious! He immediately left the dining table. Meanwhile, Clara remained calm and didn't react much. Reinhard, on the other hand, was increasingly confused by his only grandson's attitude.
"I think I spoiled him too much!" Reinhard complained. "If only his parents were still alive, they would have agreed with me to marry you instead of that woman!"
"Don't worry too much, Mr. Reinhard. It all takes time, and I'm sure Arthur will marry me."
"Really? Do you have a way to win over that stubborn boy?" Reinhard looked at Clara enthusiastically.
"Of course, Mr. Reinhard!" she replied with a big smile.

"Damn Clara! Ever since she came to the house, Grandpa has been favoring her! Who is Grandpa's grandchild, anyway? Just because Grandpa is friends with the Delevon family, does that mean he can ignore me?" Arthur said angrily. "I can't! I can't let this continue! I have to kick Clara out of the house!"
"Are you sure about this, Miss Clara?" Reinhard looked worried seeing Arthur's future wife dressed simply, even looking like a villager.
"Don't worry, Mr. Reinhard. I know what I'm doing."
"I guess I'm too old to think straight," said Reinhard. Clara just smiled. "I'll make sure your dream comes true!"
"If anything happens, call me immediately," said Reinhard.
"I understand, sir." Clara finally left the Garcia residence for the Ruby Hotel. She wore a black blouse with a rather outdated style, her hair was loose and her bangs were pinned back with black clips. Her makeup was also not too thick. 'Arthur Volkskrant... let's start the game!'
"Hah! That was exhausting!" Arthur sat down, leaning back to relax his tense muscles and nerves from the dinner table. His eyes were fixed on the red brick door that had been locked for several months. The door had a nameplate and the words "CEO Ruby Hotel" deliberately left blank because his grandfather had given him a crazy condition that he had to fulfill.
"Why did Grandpa have to be so crazy? It's all because of that damn will!" Arthur grumbled.
"Good morning, I'm a new intern at this hotel." Clara approached the receptionists in the lobby of the Ruby Hotel.
The three women at the front desk were silent and looked at each other. "Do you know anything about this?" whispered one of them.
"No, I don't know anything about it," replied another receptionist.
"Who recommended you? May we know?" asked one of them again.
"Your manager... Mr. Arthur Volkskrant!" Clara smiled broadly.
The three receptionists laughed scornfully. They looked at her with disgust and contempt. "You're dreaming, right? The manager of Ruby Hotel? If the one who recommended you was the manager of Ruby Hotel, then I am the wife of the owner of this hotel!" joked the other two receptionists.
Clara smiled back. "In that case, I will convey your wish, Miss, that the owner of this hotel marry you."
"You!"
"What's all the commotion about?"
Arthur arrived with his hands in his pockets.
"Good morning, Mr. Arthur," greeted the three receptionists.
Arthur glared at Clara unhappily, but she just smiled widely and waved her hand.
A few moments ago,
"There will be a new employee at Ruby Hotel and I want you to treat her well! She is my special employee!" said Grandpa on the other end of the phone.
Now,
'It turns out the new employee is Clara Delevon!' Arthur was furious and angry. He strode over to Clara and gave her a sharp look. "This lady is my responsibility! You all get back to work!" he ordered.
"Follow me!" Arthur said firmly, walking away from the three receptionists.
"What a nice hotel! I like the atmosphere and interior, very classic, luxurious, elegant, and it has a clear family feel...."
"What are you doing here!?" Arthur suddenly turned around.
"Excuse me?" Clara looked at him in confusion.
"What is your purpose here? You're like a ghost, do you know that!? You're pretending to be nice to Grandpa to achieve your goal!"
Clara smiled cynically. "Are you done?"
Arthur became even more furious! His affection turned into deep hatred, especially after Clara came to his house and approached his grandfather.
"I'm warning you! Don't get too close to me! Pretend we don't know each other and don't ever talk to me, understand!?"
Clara nodded. "Okay!"
Soon, Clara arrived on the tenth floor where Arthur worked.
"I thought you were in the CEO's office..."
"Keep your voice down!" snapped Arthur. The other hotel employees who worked on the same floor as Reinhard's grandson looked at them with suspicious and harsh stares.
"Hah, it looks like my patience will be tested a lot in this place," he muttered.
"If you don't want to, I'll ask my grandfather to fire you!" Arthur said firmly.
"Hah, do you think I'm the kind of woman who gives up easily over something trivial like this?" Clara sneered. "I'll show you, Mr. Arthur, what patience really means."
"Attention everyone! We have a new employee at Ruby Hotel. Miss Clara, please introduce yourself." Arthur opened his arms wide, and the employees who felt uncomfortable with Clara's presence greeted her with cynical, curt, and cold stares.
"I didn't know Ruby Hotel was hiring," whispered one of the employees.
"Neither did I," replied another employee. "Why do you think she was able to get in here and be welcomed directly by the manager?"
"Hah, what else? She must have sold her body to get here!" said another employee sarcastically.
Clara heard the snide and sarcastic remarks directed at her, but she didn't have time to respond to these unimportant people.
"Your desk is here! Any questions? If not... Emily, you help her, okay!" Arthur pointed to one of his employees. A woman with shoulder-length black hair and thick glasses.
"Yes, sir." Emily approached the two of them, welcoming Clara and shaking her hand.
Shortly after, Arthur left Clara. As she was about to go to her desk, several female employees came over and looked at her cynically.
"Miss Clara, we hope you can give your best effort here! Don't get a big head just because the manager himself welcomed you!" said one of them curtly.
"Don't worry, ma'am. I will definitely give my best effort. Miss Emily, please help me!" Clara smiled at her coworker.
"Ugh, so arrogant! Let's see how long you'll last here!" said another employee, leaving Clara.
'The Ruby Hotel employees are terrible. It seems I have to find the right person to select employees for my hotel later.'

"Hello..." Arthur answered the phone call.
(How is it? Is she comfortable at our hotel?)
"Why is that woman suddenly at our hotel, Grandpa? Are you that eager to marry me off to her?"
(Kids these days! They really don't respect their elders!)
"I still have a lot of work to do, Grandpa. I'm hanging up—"
(Take good care of Miss Clara! That's an order!) Grandpa immediately ended the conversation.
"Stupid old man! My life is like hell now!"
