Chapter 133 - 133-They Don’t Ever Share A Room

Kash adjusted his posture but did not step away from me.

He had one knee up, his forearm resting on it, and he looked at Lara with a bizarre expression.

She marched toward us, her heels scraping against the pavement.

Her dress was crooked, and her mask hung off one side of her face.

She tossed her hair back and stomped to a stop beside us.

"You just left me in there. You did not even look back," she snapped, tapping a finger against her chest as she complained to him.

Kash straightened his posture, but he did not get up right away to comfort her.

He slowly turned his head toward her, his jaw flexing once before he grunted.

"What if he had attacked me next?" she yelled, pointing at her chest.

I was furious. I remembered she was the one who had turned his attention toward me.

"But he didn't. You were dancing with him," I snapped at last, still shaking badly, and her eyes widened as if she were in disbelief.
