Right before me stood Iris, looking annoyed. Even though I was trying my best to stay focused on the main goal I had come here for, I couldn't help but have moments where my eyes dropped to her choice of clothing.
To say the least, she was dressed comfortably. But the problem was, I wasn't comfortable watching her like that.
The shorts she wore were too short.
Not her fault—my damn eyes' fault.
The white tank top revealed too much of her.
Again, not her fault, not the top's fault—mine.
I cleared my throat and tried to look elsewhere several times until she turned around, clearly annoyed that her mother had invited me.
I could tell she didn't even want to sit at the same table or share a meal with me for some reason. She turned and bent down to grab the basket from the floor to help the kids clean the room.
The way she bent made all the blood in my body rush to one particular part. I felt a sudden struggle in my underwear.
