Keifer's POV
It had already been 15 minutes—why hadn't she come back from the washroom yet?
Did she lie and go to sleep? She had even yawned several times.
"Guys, excuse me," I said and got up from the sofa.
"Where are you going now?" Eman asked.
"To just check," I replied.
"Okay," he said.
I left the guest room and started walking toward my room.
The door was slightly open, so I peered inside.
And there she was, sleeping like a baby, snoring softly.
I came closer to the bed.
"Jay, wake up," I whispered near her ear, pinching her arm gently.
"Ahhhhhh…" she groaned.
"Wake up, we have exams tomorrow," I said.
"You jerk! Why did you pinch me? You could have just told me to wake up!" she yelled in frustration.
"Come on, let's go," I replied.
"Please, just a little," she begged.
"No, you can sleep as much as you want, but not now—tomorrow, yes, but not now," I replied.
"Gago, you're really an animal," she said—but suddenly her expression changed.
[3 profanities]
"What did you just say?" I asked with a smirk.
"Nothing! Let's go, we have to study, right?" she said, quickly getting up from the bed and walking toward the doorway.
"Wait, where are you going now? Hey, stop!" I followed, trying to stop her, but she had already reached the door.
"You can get out of here, but you cannot escape from me," I said.
(There's still night left here.)
I quickly went over.
She was sitting quietly, looking at her notes and avoiding eye contact with me.
I sat beside her, grabbed my notes, and started reading the important points.She was glancing at me from the corner of her eye. (I'll just ignore it.)
After 5 hours…
"Ahhhhh, I'm hungry," Drew said, rubbing his stomach.
"Okay, guys, that's enough. We've studied a lot. Let's go for dinner now," I replied.
"Okay, let's go," Ci-n said.
"Yeah, I'm hungry too," David replied.
Everyone got up, and we all went downstairs straight to the dining table. When we reached, we all sat down on the chairs.
The table was already laden with food.We started eating.
We finished dinner quickly and quietly.
After finishing, we went back to the guest room.
"Ahhh, now I'm feeling a little sleepy," David murmured.
"You're always half asleep, grandpa," Ci-n taunted.
"You little brat," David murmured, giving him a death glare.
"So, you guys think we can do well in tomorrow's exams? We've studied that much, right?" Jay said.
"Yeah," Yuri replied.
"So, I think we should sleep now. We'll have to get up early, but right now we need energy," Jay said.
"Yeah, we can take a little power nap," Yuri replied.
"Yeah, I'm going to sleep now," David said, got up, and started walking towards the door.
"Grandpa, wait! I'm coming with you," Ci-n said, following him.
Everyone left one by one. I got up and came out of the room.
I started walking toward my room. Jay was lying on the bed, sleeping.
"Ahh, she's sleeping… why so quickly?" I murmured.
I lay down beside her, adoring her. She looked so cute while sleeping.
(While staring at her, I fell asleep.)
(In the morning)
I woke up very early and went to the kitchen to make coffee for myself.
When I was done, I went straight upstairs to my room.
(Jay was still sleeping.)
I came out of the room and sat on a chair on the balcony.
The sun's rays were soft; the sun had just risen.
The wind was blowing a little cold, and it felt really nice against my skin. I took a sip of coffee while enjoying the view.
I was feeling a bit anxious and nervous too, because today is our first exam.
Suddenly, someone came up from behind me, slipped her hands over my chest, and rested her chin on my shoulder.
"Hmm, what are you doing here alone?" she asked.
"Hmmm, just enjoying the view with a cup of coffee," I replied.
"You might have forgotten what time it is now," she said.
"And what time is it now?" I asked.
"It's 5:40 a.m.," she replied.
"So what? We have to leave at 8:30 for college," I said.
"There are exams now, so we have to leave at 7 o'clock," she replied.
"Ohh, I had forgotten that. Thank you for reminding me," I said, quickly getting up.
"How did you get ready so quickly?" I asked, noticing her.
She was already ready.
"While you were sitting here comfortably drinking coffee, I got ready at that time.
"You've been sitting here and drinking coffee for half an hour," she replied.
"Ohh, I didn't even realise that," I said, quickly running toward the closet.
I took out a pair of trousers and a polo shirt, grabbed a towel, and went straight to the bathroom.
After taking a quick bath, I dried my hair, put on my clothes, and came out of the bathroom.Jay was packing the things that would be useful.
"Are they ready?" I asked.
"When I woke up, I went to wake those snakes up—they had already woken up," she replied.
"By the way, there's still time left, right?" I asked.
"Yehhh," she answered, looking at the watch in her hand.
"So…"
