Keifer's POV
Today we are going to London.
I slept the entire day on the jet, and Jay was beside me, sleeping as well. When we arrived, Bella woke us up.
The plane landed, and as we got out, someone had already sent a car to pick us up.
Who could it be?
We got inside the car, and the driver started driving. On the way, we were quiet.
(After a while)
We reached my place, and the driver stopped the car.
We got out and started walking towards the main door.
A maid opened it, and we went inside.
Some servants brought the luggage and other things.
It was already 10:32.
"I'm so hungry," Jay murmured.
I called a maid and ordered her to set the dining table.
She left, and after a while, a servant came and told us to take our seats for dinner.
"Let's go," I told Jay.
"To have dinner? This time?" she asked.
"You're hungry, so let's just go," I replied.
We went to the dining table, sat down, and started eating.
Bella asked, "So, do they know that you came back to London?"
"No," I replied.
Jay asked, "Who all?"
"My relatives," I answered.
"Hmmm…" Jay murmured.
"After the exams are over, I'll concentrate on my business work. But for now, I have to focus on the exams," I added.
"So, for a few days, you'll have to take care of everything, Bella."
Bella asked, "What if your cousins do something?"
"Nothing will happen. You just have to manage it," I replied.
"Will see," she said.
Jay asked, "The exams will be over in one and a half months, so why are you going to stay here for two months?"
"As I'm now going to become the CEO of the Watson Empire, I'll have to stay here a few extra days," I explained..
(We finished our meal.)
"Okay, I'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye," Bella said and left.
We both went straight to the room.
"Huh, I'm very tired today. Exams will start the day after tomorrow, and we'll have to wake up early to study, so let's go to sleep early for 2 to 3 hours," Jay said.
"Okay, I'm just going to take a shower," I replied.
I grabbed a towel and went straight to the bathroom.
As I turned on the shower, the warm water felt refreshing. I washed my hair, and after finishing, I came out. Jay was not in the room.
I quickly put on my pyjamas and stepped out of the bathroom.
I started looking for Jay, and then I saw her coming out of another room, wrapping her hair in a towel.
"What are you looking at?" she asked as she noticed me.
"Nothing. Let's just go to sleep, okay?" I replied.
"Let's go. I'm really tired," she said, walking inside.
She jumped on the bed, spread out, and slept as if she were the only one sleeping.
"Jay, move a little. I want to sleep too," I said.
"Ahmmm…" she murmured and moved a little.
As I lay down on the bed, she clung to me, putting her feet on my legs.
(Early in the morning)
Ting tong…
I woke up to the sound of the alarm. I saw Jay near me, sleeping and snoring softly. I didn't want to wake her, but I had to.
"Jay, wake up! It's 4 am. We have to start reading the notes," I said, trying to wake her.
"Hmmmmm… why do these exams always come on peaceful days to ruin them?" she murmured.
"I'm also feeling sleepy, but we have to ignore sleep for a few days," I replied. "Now, come on, wake up."
She sat up, her hair spread out in the air like a witch's, still half asleep.
"Jay, open your eyes," I said.
Suddenly, she opened her arms to hug me, and as she did, I hugged her back.
But she clung to me, her grip tightening, and crossed her legs over my waist. She said,
"Pick me up and take me with you."
(Just like she asked me to do.)
I picked her up and carried her to the bathroom.
I made her sit on the marble counter, her hands still wrapped around my neck, while mine rested on her waist.
"Come on, open your eyes. Wake up. It's time to brush," I said.
She opened her eyes a little and replied, "Please help me."
"Ahhh, okay. Now I'll have to do it for my wifey, right?" I murmured.
I took the brush from the holder and put toothpaste on it.
"Show me your teeth," I said.
As she opened her mouth, I started brushing.
It felt like I was the father of a child, I murmured to myself.
When I finished, I gave her a glass of water to rinse.
(As she was done)
"Just stay here a little. I'm going to brush mine now," I said.
"Hmmm, okay," she replied.
"You're making me so lazy, you know," she commented.
"Hmmm, anything for my wife?" I replied.
As I finished, I took the glass and rinsed my mouth.
"Now let's go. I'm done," I said.
"Ahhh…" she murmured, spreading her arms.
I picked her up and carried her out of the bathroom.
I made her sit on the bed, knelt in front of her, and asked,"Do you want something to eat or drink?"
"I just want a cup of coffee for energy, but you have to make it," she replied.
"Okay, let's go to the kitchen," I said.
"You go, I'll come," she said.
"No, you have to come with me. Otherwise, you'll just go back to sleep," I replied.
"Please," she begged with puppy eyes.
"I'll pick you up. Would that be okay?" I asked.
"Okay then, let's go," she replied.
Jay's POV
I opened my arms to climb onto him.
He started walking towards the stairs.
"By the way, the rest are coming today, right?" I asked.
"Yeah, they'll reach by 6 o'clock," he replied.I simply nodded.
When we reached the kitchen, he put me down and went near the glass-door cupboard.
He took out the coffee powder and went over to the percolator to make coffee.
Suddenly, I felt like eating something.
"Now, I want to eat something too," I said casually.
"Just a while ago, you said you didn't want to eat, and now you do," he replied.
"I didn't say I didn't want to eat. I just said I wanted to have a coffee, but now I want to eat something too," I replied, playing with my fingers.
"Okay, so what do you want to eat?" he asked.
I started thinking…
