Jay's POV
Ding dong…
I woke up to the sound of the alarm on my phone that I had set so I could get up early today.
I quickly got up and checked the time. It was 04:50.
I have to wake him up.
"Keifer, wake up! It's already 04:50. You have to go home early before anyone catches you!"
"Keifer," I tried again, running my eyes over him.
"Hmmm… I want to sleep more," he groaned.
"Ahh, but you have to go now. When you get there, you can sleep as late as you want," I replied.
He got up, rubbing his eyes and yawning.I chuckled at him—he looked so funny.
I went to the door, opened it, and gestured for him to come with me.
We started walking towards the downstairs hall.
As we reached there, I saw Aries.
I gestured to Keifer to hide, but he—the crazy person—didn't get it.
"Why is he here?" he asked as he noticed him.
"He slept here last night, but in the guest room," I replied.
"Why did he need to stay here?" he asked again.
"When did you come? You were with Ella last night, right?" I asked.
"I think I should be asking you questions. What is he doing here? And why?" he asked again.
"I'll tell you later, but now please let him go.
Someone might catch us," I replied, then opened the door.
Keifer and I came out and opened the main gate.
We both stepped outside, and then he hugged me and kissed me on the forehead, saying goodbye.
He got into his car and drove off, waving his hand.
I came in, closed the main gate, and went inside the house. The great thing was Aries wasn't there.
I quickly locked the door and started walking upstairs to my room.
I was still a little sleepy, so when I reached my room, I locked the door and jumped onto the bed.
Since I was feeling drowsy, I fell asleep quickly.
The second time I woke up, it was 09:10am.
I yawned, rubbed my eyes, and got out of bed.
I grabbed my towel and clothes and went to the bathroom.
I took off my clothes and stepped into the shower. The water felt refreshing as it touched my body. I washed my hair as well.
After finishing, I came out, dried my hair, put on my casual clothes, then opened the door and went downstairs.
I came to the dining table and sat on a chair.
Everyone was there—Mumma, Tita, and Aries.Only Kuya was missing.
He's probably busy with his wife now; that's why he's not here. (Jealous)
"Why are you guys having breakfast late today?" I asked.
"We were waiting for you," Mumma replied.
"Oh, waiting for me? Nice."
"Anyway, what's for breakfast today?" I asked.
"It's a sandwich," Aries replied, looking at his tablet.
"Hmmm…" I simply nodded.
The maid placed a plate in front of me, and I started eating.
I noticed that Aries glanced at me several times while searching for something on his tablet.
When Mumma and Tita were done, they both left.
Only Aries and I were left alone.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked innocently.
"Now, tell me, why did he sleep here last night?" he asked, staring at me.
"When everyone had left, he was helping me clean the trash. By the time we finished
everything, it was already 01:35, so he chose to stay here," I explained.
"And by the way, where were you last night?
You excused yourself, saying you were going to drop Ella and would be back, but you didn't. What were you doing?" I asked him like a detective.
"Oh… nothing. I-I was just strolling around to freshen up my mind. But when I reached home at 3 am, you were in your room, so Mumma came to open the door. What were you doing?" he asked.
"Honestly, we didn't do anything like you guys. We just watched a movie and then fell asleep," I replied proudly.
But really… I shouldn't be proud of this.
"You're talking like you haven't done such things," he shot back.
"What things?" I asked innocently.
"Now, you're talking like you don't know," he replied.
"Because I haven't," I said.
While we were busy in our nonsense…
(The doorbell rang.)
A maid went to open the door.And what I saw…Kuya and Honey.
As soon as I saw them, I quickly got up from my seat.
When Honey saw me, she quickly came over and hugged me.
"How are you, sis-in-law?" she asked.
"Nice. You?" I asked.
"Ohh, I'm always fine," she replied.
"Ohh, seems like you both have become more friendly these days," Kuya commented.
"Come in, let's go to the hall," Tita said, pulling Honey along with her.
I sat down on my chair again.
