Fionna was still standing, her leg is trembling and blood is dripping down her face. The captain pull back his arm, surprised at her strong will.
" A little girl with this will!? That's unbelievable! ",
The captain throw another straight punch towards Fionna but she casually dodges it and proceed to throw a punch on the captain's liver. He growl in pain, grab his waist and felt the overwhelming pain.
' A woman with this strength!? That's really impossible! ',
The captain look back at Fionna but she was now spinning upward in the air, and slam the captain's face in the ground by striking his head using Fionna's foot.
Henry saw Fionna's move and he was quite shock too, that's one of his kicking techniques and Fionna just replicate it without any struggle. As Fionna is standing while his foot is on the captain's head, Henry saw himself on Fionna's back.
" Mhm? Oh, that's something i didn't expect...",
He just smirk and giggles.
The captain suddenly grab her foot and throw Fionna towards some crater near the bonfire. She slam there, but immediately stand up. Fionna grab a stick that laying in the ground and start spinning it around her body.
As she put the stick behind her shoulder, another silhouette appears behind her. Addam who's watching was surprised again, because it was his own spear movements.
Fionna charge forward, swinging the stick like a spear in the air. She then grab the end of the stick and slam it in the captain, but he manage to block it and grab the stick immediately.
The captain smirk and start thrusting her using the stick. She dodges all of it, and successfully taken back the stick from the captain, she step forward, spun the stick like a drilling tool and then thrust it in the captain's body armor.
With the speed of her spinning, and the friction that the stick is giving from the body armor start creating light fire and it suddenly exploded, causing the captain to flew back.
" That's my Explosive Spear Technique! Does she learn it from me? ",
Addam was surprised once again.
' She put gun powder in the end of the stick without even noticing by the military captain! She was good unlike before! ',
The captain grunted, he stood up taking off his vest and charge towards Fionna with full of aggressiveness and anger. He throw multiple punches in each directions, but Fionna manage to dodge all of them and successfully counter it by striking his chin using the stick.
" Give me that!! ",
The captain grab the stick and broke it into two, then bash Fionna's stomach and send her away. She slam on a nearby tent and destroyed it.
Henry run towards her, while Leigh, Addam and Elmar stood infront of the captain facing him.
" You all can't stop me...YOU CAN'T!!! ",
The captain pull out some weird syrum and stab it on his neck. The three of them was shock at what the captain did.
" One year ago...we flew back in Southern District to find Garry's experiment! And we found this case of blue syrum that we suspect he was using to create a perfect infected! ",
The captain's arm suddenly bloated, veins is popping out and all of his muscles turn into massive chunks of fleshes.
" THIS IS WHAT HE USED TO BECOME SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM HUMAN! THE NEXT EVOLUTION OF THE VIRUS!! ",
He scream until his body turn greyish, his flesh start coming out of the skin, his face becoming twisted because of the syrum. The captain's back become hard like iron, and all of his spine came out and rip his skin on his back. All the pain and agony came out from his scream.
" Fucking dumb! He was trying to transform into something monstrous! ",
Elmar said.
" Its like...",
Addam was about to say something but Leigh finish it.
"...yes, it was like Anastasia back in the Black Bandits base! ",
The three of them step back, and hold their weapons tightly.
The captain become monstrous with pure muscles strength, bloated appearance and twisted expression. His other arm are muscular while his left arm was dried like plant. A massive loudly roar cane out from the captain's mouth, shaking the whole valley.
" Prepare to fight!! ",
Chris shout in the radio.
The dried arm of the captain swing towards the three men infront of it, striking like a whip. Elmar stood infront of the two, and tanked the whip like arm of the captain.
" Fuck! That feels like my mother is whipping me! ",
Leigh charge forward, swinging his katana blocking the whipping arm.
With a quick move, he dash behind the captain's grosteque body, giving it a powerful and sharp slash through its waist. Sadly, it doesn't do anything to the captain's hard like metal body.
Addam jump in the fight, he spin his spear and then jump as high as he can. He spin his spear from his hand while gripping it tightly, he thrust the spinning spear in the captain's shoulder, but it just dig a small hole in the captain's flesh.
" The fuck!? It doesn't do anything either! ",
The monster wiggle aggressively, and throw away Addam. Elmar charge next, he touches the captain's back, and release a massive amounts of electricity, shocking the monster.
" Now!!! Leigh, Addam!! ",
They both rush forward, Leigh draw his sword cutting the monster's belly with a precise slash. While Addam do another spinning thrust in the monster's belly too, creating a big hole on it.
They look back at the monster, it didn't do anything again. The monster grab Elmar and throw him towards the military vehicle, slamming there. The whipping arm flew towards the two and got whip out and flew towards the mountain's foot.
" Fucking monster! ",
Chris said, hiding behind a vehicle.
" Chris! Back me up! I'll fight that monster! ",
Fionna suddenly speak in the radio.
" What!? You serious!? ",
Chris ask.
" There's no other choice...also, i want to test all my training for the past two years! ",
In the tent, Fionna charge forward with an intent to fight the monster head on. The whipping arm flew towards her but she just tilted her head and dodges the whipping arm.
She grab Addam's spear from the ground, she swung it upward then strike it in the ground while pinning down the monster's whipping arm. She successfully restrained the arm so she proceed on running towards the main body.
" Everything i learn for the past two years! I'll use all of it to fight you! ",
She slide down, dodging the massive chunk arm of the monster, she then pull out dual pistols and start shooting the monster's twisted face.
Henry keep watching Fionna, when suddenly he saw every Fionna's move. Everything was familiar and similar to their fighting style and movements.
Fionna jump forward, dodging the massive arm of the monster. She land in the ground, rolling and then quickly pull out her shotgun, blowing up the small chunk of the monster's waist flesh.
" That's...our father's movement ",
Fionna run in the field while carrying a shotgun on her arm. She rush towards the monster but slide down after reaching its lower body. Fionna appears below the monster, pointing her shotgun upward.
" Don't forget to calm yourself before using a gun sweetie, every moves you do is an opening for your shots ",
Tei's silhouette appears besides Fionna which surprised Henry become she can move like their father from their prime.
Fionna blasted the monster's face, blood drips but still moving aggressively.
She stood up quickly, pointing her shotgun towards the monster. The captain twisted body start reacting to the kinetic force that the shotgun release, it suddenly release multiple vein like tentacles and start attacking Fionna like another whip.
She jump back, tilt her head and side her body just to dodge all of that. She saw Leigh's katana and quickly pick it up, she start swinging it wildly slicing all the vein like tentacles into pieces.
After slashing the last tentacles, she once again charge forward and swing the katana forward. With a quick draw, she manage to deeply wounded the monster.
Henry once again surprised, Leigh's silhouette appears besides Fionna while holding the katana above her head.
' She literally replicating our movements...or is it just coincidence? ',
She dashes forward, slicing every muscles the monster has in the leg just to make it fall to its knees.
But before she can breath out, the monster suddenly smash its massive arm towards Fionna, and send her towards a rubble of rocks nearby.
" Fionna! ",
Henry shout.
But she get up with a ominous presence, blood is dropping from her head. Henry and Chris was worried at her condition, but they are shock when she suddenly charge forward again.
The monster release multiple tentacles again, but Fionna easily slashes them with a quick draw. She jump high, running in the monster's massive arm, slashing them in an instant.
She dashes super quick that she suddenly disappear. The monster suddenly saw her infront of its face, staring at the monster like she was a hunter who caught its prey. Her eyes has a terrifying and serious look that can be felt deep in someone's soul.
With a second, Fionna blasted the monster's head with just one punch. Henry and Chris was unbelievably shock at what she just did to the monster.
Its been two years after his death, i can't stop myself from thinking about him and cannot move on yet. But after some time, i realizes...i shouldn't crying forever...my goal is to become stronger and protect anyone around me.
I already lost so many friends and family...and even the person i like. For over two years, i trained myself without stopping. I carry some weights, running through a field full of infecteds, punching some trees that eventually broke because of my improvement.
I recall all my friends movements, all of their techniques and strategies on fighting some infected and people.
First, i mastered all the things Chris taught to me back when we are still in the church. My punch become stronger than his, i don't know how but i think its become i got a dense bone and it makes my punch hard and stronger.
Second, i watch how Addam fight. He was good at spear techniques and sniping, but i never tried the sniper since we only got one. So i focus my training on copying and improving my spear techniques, i used all my memories of Addam using spear in a fight.
Third, was Leigh's sword skill and tactical fighting. He was cold but i manage to ask him to teach me some sword techniques, he taught me about quick drawing since i'm small and my body can't perform a heavy slash. In just a month, my drawing using a sword honed so much.
Next is Elmar's durability, it was the hardest actually but with his proper training and all my guts...i manage to replicate his iron defense but it was weaker than his.
Next is my brother and father's fighting style. My father was a former military soldier and he teach me when i was a kid all about gun and war. I remember everything he taught me, i just honed it a little, and when it comes to my brother's fighting style...it was the easy one, i have a flexible and athletic body so i easily replicate his kicking techniques.
All of their techniques and strategies when it comes on fighting and survival...i master them all.
I can't stay weak and rely on someone else...that's not how Vins show me.
" I will protect you, even it cost my life! ",
Those words he release from his mouth, it creates something inside my heart...a foundation for something i should build by myself.
A will to survive...a will to continue living for the sake of the person who saves and protect me.
