After their last explosive argument, it became clear that Niky was truly determined to keep Yuzu from leaving his house. That very same day, a contractor was brought in to install iron bars on every window of her room. Yuzu tried to chase the man out with furious screams, but no one responded to her rage, not even Yeva.
Days of shouting and crying eventually left her dizzy, so Yuzu finally stopped on the third day. Niky hadn't visited her once since their fight. She was left completely alone in that room, trembling in fear and anxiety as Yuki's silhouette—the one she saw on the street—kept replaying in her mind.
KNOCK KNOCK!
"Yuzu, I brought your lunch. Can I come in?"
Even though the door was locked from the outside, Yeva still knocked before entering the room where Yuzu stayed. Yuzu didn't answer because she knew Yeva would enter her room anyway. The sound of the lock being opened could be heard. Then, Yeva entered with a food trolley that she pushed carefully.
