With remarkable ease, Everly leaped into the pitch-black ward, and Jeremy followed suit. Once they were both inside, Jeremy leaned in close and whispered into Everly's ear.
"There's a high probability that the people down there called security the moment they saw us climb through this room's window... if at all possible, try to wrap everything up within ten minutes..."
Everly nodded in comprehension. She was well aware that this was the consequence of her acting like a criminal in full view of the public. She now had very little time. However, she was still content. Her adrenaline was soaring at that moment, making her want to hum a cheerful tune. Observing the creepy smile on Everly's face, Jeremy felt a strong urge to let himself be apprehended by security and vanish from this room. He definitely didn't want to be here right now...
