Chapter 30 - Abnormalities Of The Abnormal Entity

**Back to the present.**

'He is the abnormal entity?' Thorne asked, as he gave Sean a really good look. 'He looks like a regular person.'

Although Sean had been careful not to stare at Thorne too long, Thorne had still noticed his gaze nonetheless. Especially because he had been paying attention on him from the start.

[You're not one to talk host. Just like you're abnormal, he is as well.]

'So you're saying he has six affinities like me? More or less? Or could he have something like you?'

[It is unsure how many affinities he has, however, his presence is heavy enough to declare him abnormal. As for the probability of him having a Symbiote like me, while it is possible, the probability is about one in ten thousand.]

Throne's gaze sharpened at an odd distinction.

'Presence? What's that? And how's it heavy?' He asked.

HORUS went quiet for some seconds.

[I'm afraid I cannot explain any of that to you Mr. Hiddleston. You need to posses the passcode required for such level of information, or be of a certain level of strength. Unfortunately, you are yet to meet either requirements.]

'Passcodes? What do you mean passcodes?'

[It is exactly as you think. It is how I was programmed.]

'That's true, where even are you from?'

[I am afraid I cannot hand out such information without the specific passcode for it.]

'Forget it.' Thorne sighed internally.

'He appears to be in deep thought. And I noticed his lingering stare from earlier. Are you sure he doesn't have any symbiote like you? And perhaps finds me an abnormal entity?'

[It is uncertain, Mr. Hiddleston.]

'Stop calling me that. Just use Thorne.'

[Alright, Thorne.]

"I thought you said you were ready? Why are you staring off into space?" Devon asked Sean, pulling the latter out of his earlier spiral of frustration.

"Sorry, let's continue." He said simply.

Devon held his gaze for a second, and directed him to the center of the room, where a pod much like the one used for Thorne, arose from the ground on a metal platform.

Sean didn't need to be told what to do, and immediately stepped into it, relaxing as some metallic hands, guided small wires to his body, and strapped them to him. It was followed by extremely thin tubes, with needle-like tips, that pierced into him.

[It is unknown if the level of knowledge and advancements of this place, would be able to unearth the secrets of an abnormal entity. Would you like me to hack into the connection? Therefore I can make a first hand analysis.]

'If you can do that undetected, then sure.' Thorne replied HORUS.

Sean who was in the capsule, could feel the gazes on him, but the one he was paying most attention to, was mostly Thorne's.

'If he's here, then he definitely already has it.' Sean thought to himself. 'Things have gotten really messed up.'

A tingling sensation ran back and forth through his body, as his body's internal structure and anatomy, were read like an open book.

"Damn! Three friggin affinities! Since when did such a thing become common?" Michael exclaimed as he saw the monitor on the wall, display Sean's internal mappings.

He was more than shocked as just not even an hour ago, he received a report from the doctor that attended to Thorne, that the boy had three affinities. And not up to an hour later, he was finding another boy with three affinities again... Both of them discovered in this same hospital.

In Sean's anatomical representation on the monitor, were three shimmering cluster of cells, two at his heart, and one right in his cerebrum!

The two at his heart, shimmered blue for one, and purple for the other, signifying water and lightning affinities respectively. While the one in his cerebrum, just as odd as it was, had an odd color.

"Three four affinities, but only three awakened mana cell clusters," Devon said softly, but it was enough to throw the room into utter silence as he continued to analyze.

"Water, lightning..." His brows furrowed. "Shadow? I'm not certain. It appears to be shadow, but is much darker than any I've seen before, if I am not mistaken, then probably as dark as Noxus's, but unawakened.

"And..." His eyes flicked to the one cell cluster that was located in Sean's cerebrum, as he frowned somewhat. "...An unknown, awakened mental affinity, located in the cerebrum."

This was the first time in human history, that a mana cell cluster had been known to ever appeared in the cerebrum... and unsurprisingly, it was an affinity they had no knowledge about.

Clustered just like the others, this one blended smoothly with his brain cells, and was also grey in color.

However, unlike the grey matter of the brain, this one looked polished. The grey was shiny enough that it could be called a silver-grey color, to create a full picture.

Though they were lost and confused, there was one person who could see and understand everything.

[Water, lightning, darkness, and death affinities. This is something indeed far above the pay grade of this place.]

'Darkness and death... those are affinities we have not discovered before.' Thorne murmured internally.

[While darkness is a super rare element, it is indeed possible that a person might awaken it in this world. However, even combining the entire population of species in this world, from beasts, to humans to plant life, you would have fifteen at best.]

'And I thought I was special. Well, he doesn't have a combat symbiote.'

[Death affinity on the other hand, is not something that should have been possible to appear in this world at all.] HORUS continued, it's voice sounding with conviction.

'Not appear in this world... For something that should've been made in Aegis, you posses seemingly too much knowledge. Are you perhaps an alien technology?' Thorne asked, feeling curious.

[You do not possess the passcode required for such information, Mr. Thorne.]

While everyone was still shell shocked and trying to gain their bearings caused by Sean's mind blowing affinities, the surprise was still yet to end.

"Genetic Enhancement, Integration phase." Devon said, and even he too, became completely stunned by what he said.
