My eyes widened at Viktor's sudden action. Why did he hit Devid all of a sudden? I was shocked. Or… could Devid and Viktor be enemies?
But as soon as he punched Devid, Viktor turned toward me.
"Now, who is this guy? And why are you with him?" Viktor asked, his tone sharp, as if I'd committed some terrible crime.
I didn't like it one bit. "Why are you asking me?" I said, smacking his arm.
Just then, Devid grabbed Viktor's collar, rage contorting his face. Viktor wasn't backing down either; he gripped Devid's hands firmly.
"You damn bastard! Who are you? And how dare you come between me and Zane!" Devid shouted.
Wait… he wasn't angry because Viktor hit him—he was angry because Viktor had interfered.
"I don't know how someone can be this delusional. Just get your ass out of my face," Viktor spat.
Then, without warning, he grabbed my hand and started pulling me out of the hall. I noticed the girl who had hugged him earlier was staring at me.
