"Babe, did you make a list? What are we getting from the grocery store today?"
I slammed my laptop shut the moment Julian appeared, dressed in nothing but briefs. I was halfway through planning his upcoming birthday surprise, and I didn't want him to see a thing.
Julian's bare chest was on full display, toned muscles and broad shoulders catching my attention despite myself. I raised a brow as he leaned against the bedroom doorframe, arms folded, his biceps flexing and the tattoos on both arms nearly disappearing from sight.
"I promised I'd get everything you need so you don't stress yourself," he said seriously. "You've been doing that a lot lately, and it's not good for you or the baby. You know you both are my priority."
I scoffed as he pushed off the doorframe and walked closer. He dragged the swivel chair near the vanity toward me, gently lifted one of my swollen feet onto his lap, and began to massage it.
