Inside the carriage, Evangeline watched as with a content smile, Cerberus looked at his painted red nails and then turned his head towards the window when he saw children playing around. His gaze when he looked at the children, however, wasn't the look of endearment, rather looking as though he was wondering how to feast on them which unsettled her.
She doesn't like Cerberus, nor does she feel comfortable being around him. But she couldn't help but become curious of what kind of a person he truly was.
Maybe because a part of her was sure if she gets to know about him more, it was a ticket to know about a side of Hades she doesn't know either.
"You said you will tell me why Hades will be leaving," she reminded the other end of her bargain and smiling, Cerberus seemed almost slightly regretful that she remembered what he promised to do.
"He has to visit an old friend's grave."
"Grave?" she asked and Cerberus smiled.
