Synopsis
I never imagined I would find my soulmate in an animal I look after, let alone two. Color me surprised when I learned that the wolf dogs my family rescued eight years ago weren’t actually wolf dogs but werewolves. Here they are on my 18th birthday telling me I am their destined mate and I am to be their Luna and help them reclaim their pack.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

The alarms are going off, pack members are rushing around trying to get to safety. We are under attack. My mom rushes into our room, pain and panic in her eyes.

"Asher, Alexander, I need you to take your younger siblings and run, the pack is being overrun by rouges, and I need to get as many she-wolves and pups to safety. Can you do this?"

"Yes, mama."

"Yes, mother."

Alexander and I say in unison.

"I'm counting on you both, as future Alphas it is your duty to protect those who are weaker than you. Understand?"

We both nod.

"Meet me in the north mountain, the waterfall has a cave behind it, stay there, hide until I find you. Don't leave for anything or anyone but me or your father. This is of the most importance. If you find anyone from our pack bring them along with you. Keep them safe. I love you both, I promise to find you."

"Love you mother."

"Love you mama."

We say in unison again. Mom gives us both a hug and a kiss on the forehead and rushes out the room. This must be serious. She's never required us to leave the pack during an attack.

"Come on let's go." Alexander demands. He's always the more serious one.

We run to our little siblings room, they are 9, 6 and 3 years old. Alex and I are 12, one year away from shifting for the first time. I grab the baby, Nickolas, Alex grabs Annabeth and we tell Tyson to follow us. Once we have the three by our side we run into our parents room, get into the closet and hit the secret panic button hidden behind a panel. Once the door seals shut behind us, we begin to search for the secret passage hidden in here. Alex finds it and pushes on it. The door opens revealing a tunnel that leads under the pack house and out to the forest.

We make our way through the tunnel and to the forest. Once we are out Alex leads and I flank, keeping our eyes pealed for any rogues and most importantly pack members that we can save. We hear a slight whimpering to our right, since our senses are heightened even before we get our wolves we sniff the air, we smell blood but also pack members. Alex hands me Annabeth and tells me and Tyson to wait and to be quiet. We nod and he heads into the direction of the whimpering.

Behind a bush Alex finds two pups about Annabeth's age, next to them are two females, one looks to be their mom and the other an older sister. Both look gravely injured based on the blood.

"Alpha Alexander," the oldest one struggles to breathes out, "Please take my pups and watch over them. My mate is gone and I am afraid I won't last much longer." Her two pups cry at her words, and the older female turns to her head and wipes away a lone tear.

"Momma, I can't watch them without you, the Alphas' aren't old enough to take care of them either please don't go."

The older woman places her hand on her cheek and wipes another the tear away, then tells her, "The Alphas are capable of getting you all to safety, even being pups they are strong, trust them Ari, I know we are just Omegas but you can do this. I love you my sweet girl. Your father loved you all too. I know the goddess is calling me home, just like she did your father. We will always watch over you, you are strong, be brave and goddess be willing you will safely make it to wherever the Alpha's are supposed to go. Be safe." With her final words she took her last breath and her children started crying. Ari begins to howl and Alex and I make eye contact because we know that will draw attention to our location.

"Alex we must go." I say to my brother and he nods at me.

"Ari, are you injured?" Alex asks. Ari shakes her head no. "Okay, I know this is hard for you but we need to take you and your brothers and go. If we stay to long the rogues will find us."

She nods in understanding, gives her mother a kiss and picks up her siblings. We continue to head north not finding any more pack members and hoping we will be able to make it to falls without running into any rogues.

Unfortunately we get about a mile out from our destination when we hear a few growls close by.

"Ari can you shift?" I ask her.

"Yes Alpha, I'm 16." She responds immediately.

"Good," Alex says firmly, "Shift into your wolf, she'll be able to carry all the small pups, and continue to head up the north mountain until you reach the falls, once there you should be able to find a secret cave. Go inside and wait for us. We will hold them off."

"Alphas you can't you don't have your wolves yet, I should be the one to shift and fight to give you a chance." Ari protests.

"No, Ari, do as we say. We may only be 12, and don't have our wolves but we have been training since we could walk. Papa made sure of it." I command, "Now go quickly."

She shifts and we place, Annabeth and her brothers on her back, then place Nickolas between the three and go to help Tyson on her back as well. He hesitates, insisting he can help but we tell him he needs to protect them if we were to fail. He nods in understanding and gets on wrapping himself as best he can around the younger pups. Then Ari's wolf takes of running while Alex and I get into fighting stances.

Four rogues come out from the shadows snarling and snapping their teeth. One of them shifts to their human form laughing.

"Well, well, well, it looks like the young Alpha twins are ready to fight. Too bad you'll just end up dead like the rest of your pack." He mocks.

"Don't be to sure about that." I say, causing the rogue to laugh again.

"Definitely a cocky little Alpha Heir aren't you. Brave, but stupid. No wonder why our employer want you dead before you come of age." He sneers. "Boys grab them, no need to go easy, we have our orders, once we take these two down, we'll get the rest of the heirs."

We see two of the rogues try to circle us from behind, Alex and I are angled slightly so we can keep an eye on all four of the rogues. The one that was talking with us stays in his human form in front if us watching. Just as the two that circled behind us go to lunge at us I feel a strength I have never felt before surge through me and I can tell Alex feels it to. The third one barrels forward and then everything changes.

"SHIT!"
