A sense of relief is all I can feel after I exit the building. It was almost like a big weight was lifted off of my shoulders when I quit this job.
Regardless I completed the quest so I mine as well see what I'm working with here. Display stats after giving rewards to me please.

Stat points: 10
Skill points: 0
Physical Stats:
Strength: 5
Stamina: 8
Intelligence: 8
Agility: 5
No other physical stats can be given to you due to the nature of your system, sorry!
Chance Section:
[Physical Hit Chance] 30%
[Strength Chance] 20%
[Persuasion Chance] 10%
[Dodge Chance] 30%
[Gamble] 15%
~The coins will be rewarded to you after you withdraw them. Otherwise it is pretty self explanatory what all of these stats do. Of course the chance percentage can go up over time with improvement. ᕦ( ⊡ 益 ⊡ )ᕤ.
What kind of improvement are we talking about? These are all pretty low percentages and I honestly still don't know how to feel about my actual stats.
I didn't think I was that weak... Or slow. Will there really be a noticeable difference in all of those if I put points into them?
~Some of the chance percentages will increase naturally from stat improvements while others require quest rewards. Physical hit chance is obvious what it does and can help you with fights in the future. Your chances of hitting your opponent. ^^.
~Strength is based on your strength obviously!! Persuasion would follow charisma but it doesn't really show within your current stats. Must be an error. Dodge is your chance to avoid attacks, debris, etc. ୧(^ 〰 ^)୨.
That's all very useful information, thank you. For now I'd like to throw 5 points into strength and 5 points into agility.
~Done! You'll notice the difference.♡
I decided to give it a test by going for a run towards my apartment since agility was part of my new improvements. As I begin to run I can notice that I do run a lot faster than before.
Running probably isn't the only thing agility works with but it definitely is a good stat to invest in. Strength will definitely help as well but intelligence will allow me to make smarter moves.
There's a lot to consider with all of this but I don't really know how it'll help me much with my normal day to day life.
Usually stuff like this is better for heroes or maybe even some villains. I don't really have an idea of what to do with this otherwise. Living in a hero society like this is kind of rough when I really think a lot it.
But I made it back to my apartment as those thoughts continue to flow throughout my mind. It didn't take long for me to get settled in, I was back in comfy clothes.
The TV was on and of course it was talking about something with heroes again since that's all people care about. Especially when it is advertised through hero corporations who specialize in that kind of crap.
Of course S.H.O.W is the one covering this story since it'll help keep their damn ratings up. They sponsor all sorts of heroes and even stage stuff occasionally to make them look better.
People can support and vote for heroes which helps contribute to rankings with popularity at least.
Overall power, strength, and so on is determined a lot differently. I'm pretty sure the commission itself handles all of that.
"We are joined here today with the #1 hero Frost. He has come a long way since first starting as a hero but he never lets anyone down." A woman says on the TV with excitement in her voice.
"Honestly I'm just grateful for all of the people out there who support us. It is our job to keep everyone safe, but we couldn't do it without you! All of you help motivate us and support us without giving it a second thought." Frost begins to give a speech.
Click. "Enough of that." I say softly while laying down on the couch.
Sadly he is another one that everyone knows about since he is the #1 ranking hero, at least that's what we know. He doesn't even have any ice powers so why the hell would he be named Frost?
Shouldn't a hero with ice like powers be named something like frost instead of whatever that guy does. I honestly don't know what his abilities are or what he can do.
It would probably do me some good to educate myself a bit about these heroes but I really don't want to be a part of that...
Heroes have just made life difficult for anyone who can't do what they do.
~Yet, you have me now! Can't we also become a hero with hard work and dedication? (・o・).
I'd prefer to be away from the hero society if anything. There's some serious problems out there with those villains and I don't think I can handle that.
People dying around me is also something that takes a toll on people mentally. I don't know if I can handle that kind of mental stress... I don't even know how heroes put up with that.
Plus, this system doesn't seem to be a combat type of system.
~It is definitely capable of helping you in fights but you haven't unlocked the full potential yet. There's skill trees you haven't even reached yet to understand your strength. Also! Not everyone can increase their physical stats like you. :-D
I'm sure that is true since most have to be lucky enough to be born with a power or multiple powers. Especially since systems went away, that's kind of the only way.
I still don't want to be a hero, but I'd like to see a few more quests if anything. Getting more out of this would help a lot.
Just being able to pay my bills with these quests would be a big deal to me. I just don't have a way to explain how I get this money... That's the only problem I can think of.
