I wasn't really expecting a hero like her to appear but this is what it's like to meet a real hero. Maybe luck is on my side today if I'm meeting someone like her.

I didn't really get a chance to respond before she flew off but it was definitely a relief to be alive after all of that. So I wipe off my clothes and continue to make my way to work.

That doesn't feel like it is that beneficial but I guess it is still a good skill to have. How can I level up with this system anyway? Also, I can't let anyone know about this since systems are technically considered banned.

I continue to walk as I wait for the system to give me a response but at least I couldn't hear anymore explosions. People also didn't seem to be hurt around me so all was okay for now.
The office building wasn't very far either so I doubt I'll get to do this quest before starting work.

I looked down at my watch to notice that it was already 7:45 Am. Somehow I managed to make it here 15 minutes early, something I rarely did.
As I enter the building I can see everyone is already working on whatever they were assigned for the day. Ahead of me I could see my boss walking through the aisles between each cubicle.
"Saito, you made it. I'm glad you are here early. Lots of work for you to do, I left it on your desk." The Boss says with a big smirk across his face.
He doesn't like me in the slightest which is why he smiling like that, he always gives me more work than the other workers here. The pay isn't bad here but... This place is definitely not the best.
Working for a person like him who doesn't give a damn about anyone's health or well-being in the slightest. I'm sure one day he'll get the karma he deserves.

I walk over to my desk and look down at the big stack of papers on my desk, of course this was the usual for me. The Boss was still walking around the aisles but this was my quest.
So I swung my hands across the desk, knocking the big stack of papers off my desk and onto the ground. Immediately I could feel the eyes staring at me from all over the room as the boss stopped in his tracks.
I look up to see him looking right back at me with a bit of an upset look on his face. "What the hell are you doing Saito?" He asks, loud enough for everyone to hear.
"I...I quit!" I struggle to shout at first.
"You quit? Are you a dumbass? Actually, don't answer that. You can go." He responds as he crosses his arms.
I didn't really know what to expect when I quit since I've never really quit a job before... This was the first time that I actually did something like this in my life.
After that I begin to make my way past him as everyone continues to stare at me from all around the room. Whispers slowly begin to erupt as people question why I suddenly quit.
Saying things like "It must be stress." Or "He probably worked too much." That was the main ones I heard.
"Don't ever show your face around here again. Your last check will be sent to your address." The Boss says with a bit of frustration in his voice.
