While Mujin was walking back to the contestants booth, a man hidden in the shadows was talking to another man.
"Hiramasu did a good job with that kid, and from the rumors of his harsh training, the two other on his team shouldnt be far behind him."
At this point he sighed in resignation.
*Sigh
"It's a shame I can't use any of them, the Kurama girl is one of their clans last few good prospects, while Senju clan is untouchable due to their prestige, while the Hyuga kid is unusable due to the caged bird seal."
After he finished speaking he paused to think for a while.
"What have been the latest movements of the Uchiha clan?"
When the man in the shadows asked this question, another man in the shadows replied.
"Their clan gatherings have been held at the usual times, the only difference we have been able to notice is that their members have been slowly coming back to the village, while their mission frequency has been slowing down."
When the man finished his explanation, the other man didn't reply, he only stayed silent.
As the cheering in the stadium calmed down, the next match's contestants asked to come down to the arena.
"Daichi Uchiha and Asuja Yuu, please come down so we can start the second match."
And only once the two oppoents finally stood at the opposite sides of the arena was the match started.
"The fight between Asuja Yuu of Ame and Uchiha Daichi of Konoha, begins!"
Unlike the previous match where neither side used much ninjutsu.
In this match both sides opened up with ninjutsu.
Asuja Yuu opened up with the 42 hand seal ninjutsu, water dragon bullet.
But in comparison to this highly destructive B rank water release ninjutsu.
His opponent used Uchiha's signature ninjutsu, the great fire ball jutsu.
But because of the differences between the two techniques.
The great fireball was launched almost 2 seconds earlier than the water dragon bullet.
And because its preparation time was so long, the Ame genin had to launch the water dragon bullet in a haste.
Thus wasting chakra and making the water dragon bullet less powerful.
As a result when the two Justus clashed, the water dragon bullet, just barely overcame the great fireball, but unlike how most civilians in the audience though that the fighters in the arena were equally powerful, the Chunin ninjas an above easily saw that the Ame genin was at a disadvantage.
Especially Yujiro and Hyori who were openly provoking the Ame genins in the contestants booth.
"What a fool! Doesn't he realize that the water dragon bullet, requires a lot of preparation time due to its high number of hand seals.
By the time he was done, he was almost hit by that fire ball."
Yujiro nodded to Hyoris comment.
"Yes, and he only remained unharmed because he poured in more chakra to the jutsu to mitigate the incoming fireball.
And even when using more than two and a half times of chakra in comparison to his opponent, he only managed to barely beat his opponents jutsu."
Hearing Yujiro's and Hyoris obviously infuriating words, the Ame genins were in the brink of attacking them, but in the end they held their cool.
Back on the arena.
While the water dragon bullet won the collision with the great fireball, their collision didn't only result in the two ninjutsus destruction, but it also resulted in the creation of alot of steam.
Steam that the Daichi is currently taking advantage of, after the stream erupted from the clash of the two jutsus, Daichi immediately activated his sharingan to see through the fog.
As he activated his sharingan he already had already taken shuriken from his bag, and threw them towards his opponent.
As for the reason he could see through the fog, it's because sharingan it self could see through the smoke and the like, by seeing the opponents chakra.
The only kind of shrouds it can't see through are techniques like the hidden mist technique, which infuses chakra to the fog.
While Daichi was launching shuriken towards the enemy from different directions, the Ame genin himself was not having a good time.
He was having trouble discerning the shurikens direction from the sound, this could be seen from the multiple cut wounds that have already appeared on him.
But not all was bad for the Ame genin, for one the fog was thinning out and it was easier to see, and Daichis shuriken were running low.
As the fog was becoming easily see through, Daichi stopped throwing his shuriken, instead he took a kunai from his bag and rushed towards the Same genin.
When the Ame genin saw that his opponent was rushing towards him, he mirrored his opponents actions and took out a Kunai.
They rapidly entered a taijutsu duel.
And the crowd cheered as they crossed their kunai and fought each other.
In this duel they were basically equal in taijutsu, Asuja Yuu, had slightly stronger and faster body, while Daichi had greater insight and reaction due to his sharingan.
But as the taijutsu duel continued, both fighters were becoming more and more tired as neither had managed to land a deciding blow..
But unlike Daichi who was becoming tired from the long fight, Asuja Yuu was both tired and on the verge of passing out.
The reason for this was because he had lost alot of blood, from his multiple wounds.
First were the wounds inflicted by Daichis shuriken, while rest of the cuts were inflicted by Daichis kunai in the close quarters duel.
The reason Daichi had managed to make small cuts on Asuja Yuu in this taijutsu fight, despite their nearly equal taijutsu, was because of his Sharingans insight, allowed him to grab the smallest opportunities.
And in the end, Daichi won, when the Ame genin passed out.
