After the fight, although Daichi hadn't used a jutsu after his fireball, the act of maintaining the sharingan itself takes a toll on chakra reserves, along with the long fight that consumed a lot of stamina, he didn't have much chakra left in him.
As such, most people didn't see him as much of a challenge anymore.
This could be seen in the sorrowful crowd, who had bet money on his victory.

And like she had planned, when the kusa genin intended to run around the fire ball, he immediately fell into Genjutsu when he saw Hyori.
After he fell into genjutsu, all she needed to do was simply knock her opponent unconscious to win.
And so, the third fight took less than 30 seconds to end.
In the end, the crowd was deservedly, quite pissed as one of the fights they had paid to fight ended without them being able to enjoy it properly.
But unlike the civilians who were complaining about the short match, the ninjas were nodding at Hyori's performance.
But in the end, the civilians calmed down as they realized that there were still multiple fights to come.
And as the previous match hadn't much of a ruckus, the chunin exam moved to the fourth match, like the third hadn't existed.
"Would the contestants of the fourth match come down."
After the examiner asked them to come down, when Yujiro himself was going down, he could see Hiramasu looking at him with a pressured gaze, and the reason for this goes back to a month ago, when Yujiro was negotiating a loan from Hiramasu.
Yujiro's negotiations hadn't gone well in the beginning, even with his cheeky attempts to coerce him, but when he proposed the condition of gambling, Hiramasu looked like he had gotten a shot of adrenaline.
At that point Hiramasu remembered something from the original series.
Hashiramas, and Tsunade's gambling habits, and a speechless thought appeared in his mind.
'There is no way that like Hashirama and Tsunade, sensei too is addicted to gambling.
I don't think that Tobirama had any problems with it, so it shouldn't run in the family.

Though Yujiro was maliciously guessing about the habits of the Senju clan, he later learned that Hiramasu was one of the few in the clan who was hooked on gambling.
And what Hiramasu eventually proposed was that Yujiro would have to win the first place in the Chunin exams, and Hiramasu would give him a loan of 5 million and give him additional 5 million for free, and if he didn't win the first place, he would get own Hiramasu as much money as he bet on him winning.
So for Yujiro, this was a sure bet, he didn't think that there was anyone who could beat him.
But there was one thing he was curious about.
How much was Hiramasu actually betting on him?
"The fight between "Sotshi Teri of Ame and Hyuga Yujiro of Konoha, begins. Now!"
Though Yujiro was curious about the amount of money Hiramasu bet on him winning, he had no intention of actually finding out the hard way how much it was, because he didn't want to be stuck with Hiramasu's gambling losses, Yujiro was going to put his all to winning this tournament.
As such immediately after the judge announced the start of the match, Yujiro took it seriously.
Immediately, he made 2 mud clones while moving backwards, after he was done, he nodded at his two mud clones.
When Yujiro jumped backwards after the fight began, the Ame genin thought that his opponent was weak, as such he immediately gave chase.
But to his surprise, only a moment after he gave chase, what he could see in front of him made him confused.
'Why did he make some clones to fight against me? Doesn't he know that elemental clones only have tenth of the main body's physical ability?
They can't pose a threat to me.'
And because of his ignorance and the severe lack of experience, he didn't think much of Yujiro's actions, this could be seen from the fact that he didn't pause in his chase, as for the mud mud clones in front of him, he intended to simply destroy them with his taijutsu and continue the chase Yujiro's main body.
But to his surprise, the earth clones didn't encage him in close combat, instead they simply jumped to his sides, forming a triangle to trap him.
As a result although he was trapped in the middle, he could directly chase after Yujiro.
And because he didn't think that the clones could be much of a threat he didn't pay much attention to these clones.
But as he was catching up to the Yujiro In front of him, he started to feel like something was wrong, and just as he was about to slow down andcarefully look to the problem he felt, the Yujiro right In front of him, instead of continuing to run, simply turned around fand flickered straight towards him. And just as he reached right Infront of him, and starting an taijutsu duel, he exploded.
