Fortunately, the members of Loki Familia weren't idiots.
After hearing Emiya's explanation, even if they didn't fully believe him, they still chose to send someone to fetch Riveria.
The rest stayed where they were, surrounding Emiya and watching him closely.
If he made even the slightest suspicious move, they would attack without hesitation.
Before long, Riveria arrived after hearing the report. The moment she saw Emiya, she spoke without delay.
"Everyone, lower your weapons. He is indeed a member of Loki Familia. Loki and I personally recruited him."
Hearing this, the surrounding members finally relaxed and put their weapons away.
One of the men scratched his head awkwardly.
"Sorry about that. We were a bit on edge. If you ever get the chance, I'll buy you a drink to make it up to you."
"Haha, no need," Emiya waved his hand. "You were just doing your job. I understand."
Riveria gestured for the others to disperse. Once they left, she asked,
"Why are you here alone? Where's Loki? Didn't she come back with you?"
"Well..." Emiya hesitated slightly. "I asked her to return, but she insisted on staying at my place and refused to come back. I couldn't do anything about it, so I came back alone to let you know we're safe."
Riveria immediately showed a look of understanding.
Emiya continued,
"If you want, I can take you to her. Maybe you can persuade her."
Riveria thought for a moment, then nodded.
"...Alright. Thank you."
"No problem."
Emiya snapped his fingers.
Riveria's vision blurred, and in the next instant, she found herself in a completely unfamiliar place.
What surprised her even more-
Night had turned into day.
This was far beyond what an ordinary person could do.
Her guard immediately went up.
But the moment she saw Loki sprawled on the sofa, casually scrolling through her phone, Riveria relaxed.
"Loki."
"Huh?" Loki looked up. "Riveria? What are you doing here?"
Her expression carried a hint of wariness.
She wasn't afraid of Riveria herself.
She was afraid Riveria would ruin her anime time.
"So," Riveria asked, "where exactly is this place?"
Loki explained the situation in a few simple sentences.
Riveria wasn't foolish. She understood quickly, then rubbed her temples and looked at Emiya.
No wonder she couldn't see through this man.
He was from another world.
Loki Familia had really picked up an unbelievable person this time.
"Since you understand," Loki added lazily, "then keep it secret. Don't tell anyone else. Got it?"
Riveria nodded.
"I'll keep it secret. But Loki, when are you planning to return? You don't intend to stay here long-term, do you?"
"Of course not," Loki replied, sounding slightly guilty.
The moment Riveria saw that expression, she understood everything.
A brand-new world was irresistible to a god who had descended purely out of boredom.
When the gods first came down, it was hard to say which place was more fascinating.
But it had been a thousand years since that descent.
And Loki had been among the first.
Because of that, Riveria was certain this unknown world was far more attractive to Loki than anything left in the mortal world.
To a god who lived for entertainment, the unknown meant fun.
Thinking of this, Riveria couldn't help but sigh.
She didn't know whether Emiya's appearance was a blessing or a curse for Loki Familia.
But one thing was clear.
She couldn't force Loki to return unless Loki herself wanted to.
After some thought, Riveria said,
"Loki, if you're going to stay here, you must return at least once every three days. Many Familia members still need their Falna updated."
Loki's eyes immediately lit up.
"I know, I know. You're as naggy as a mother, Riveria. Go back and look after your kids."
"I am not a mother," Riveria shot back.
Loki only waved her hand in response.
Riveria felt exhausted.
There was nothing she could do with a superior like this.
"Thank you, Emiya."
Emiya nodded, giving Riveria a sympathetic look, then sent her back to the DanMachi world.
Since Loki refused to return, managing the Familia would fall entirely on Riveria and the captain, Finn.
He could already imagine how busy they would become.
Emiya had originally planned to learn some magic from Riveria.
But given the situation, that clearly wasn't happening.
So he decisively abandoned the idea.
That said, Riveria didn't immediately leave him behind and return to work.
Instead, she took Emiya on a tour of Loki Familia's grounds.
She knew he was not only from another world, but also a new member unfamiliar with the Familia.
So she guided him around, introducing him to the members they encountered along the way.
Most of them were people who never appeared in the story.
After all, Loki Familia was massive and powerful. Many of its members didn't even have names in the original work.
At first, Emiya could remember who was who.
But as the introductions piled up, things started to blur together.
He began mixing up names.
Western names were simply too long.
Still, it didn't matter.
With time, he would naturally become familiar with everyone.
He also doubted many of them would remember his name right away either.
They were all strangers for now.
At least this meant Emiya no longer had to worry about being surrounded like before.
Just as his head was starting to spin, he finally encountered some familiar faces.
The Amazonian twin sisters.
Tione.
And Tiona.
Emiya remembered clearly.
Tione was the older sister, deeply in love with Loki Familia's captain, Finn.
Tiona was the younger one. Free-spirited. Straightforward. Innocent.
In the future, she would also develop feelings for Bell.
Unfortunately, the current Bell was already being targeted by Loki.
No one knew what his future would look like anymore.
But the most likely outcome-
Was that he would be shaped into Freya's ideal.
