On the other end, Chris stared at his phone, his jaw tightening. His hand clenched into a fist before he slammed the phone against the wall.
"Stupid bitch!" he hissed.
"Whoa. Someone's angry," a lazy voice drawled from the darkness.
"I don't need your sarcastic remarks!" Chris snapped, striding toward the tall glass window.
A low chuckle rippled through the dimly lit room. From the shadows, A man lounged on the couch—completely naked—with a pale brunette woman straddling him. Her tiny waist and sensual curves were enough to make any man weak, yet he simply leaned back, hands folded behind his head, watching her with idle amusement.
The woman frowned at Chris's sudden outburst, confused. The man gave her a light tap on the hip, signalling her to get off.
