The Operatives from HQ looked at the trio, their cuts and bruises in abundance. Aria stepped up to an old-looking guy with glasses, a thin jacket and an old person's flat cap. Aria spoke first, "Senior Investigator…" Aria started as the man turned to look at her, "You alright, Miss?" Aria nodded as the old guy looked at a clipboard, not seeming to care about her, "Yeah, did you see a tall guy, six three maybe four, loud, obnoxious?"
The guy shook his head, "If I'd seen someone like that— Look what I can do is send out an alert for him. What's his name?" Aria spoke quietly with the investigator as Nova and Kairo sat to the side, "A kill capture order on Lucan? Doesn't make much sense." Nova nodded as she thought about it, "Yeah, Lucan hasn't done anything right?" Aria walked over and shook his head as they walked back inside; however, Nova slipped away.
A group of investigators surrounded a crate. Kairo and Aria went back to the main room of the warehouse, where Zevi was trying to walk off quickly but wasn't getting far. Kairo then went to a side room and started looking through a filing cabinet. There were multiple files, but one of them was labelled Tidegate Freightworks Corporation. His gaze shifted to the bottom, where it said Cinderpoint Valley, Ashlane House C146. He remembered seeing that address somewhere, but he couldn't put his fingers on it.
"Tessa. We are standing by for extraction. Kairo! Get Nova and let's go!" He turned around to see that Nova was nowhere to be found, but they walked outside, assuming that they would find her there. Elsewhere, the Minor Operatives from HQ opened the crate expecting to see weapons, but there was an ugly demon, it looked like a blob with tendrils and stingers, it's massive, bugged eyes opened as a portal, over thirty appeared, spewing out thousands of demons into more portals…
The helicopter came into view and was about to land as the HQ minor operatives were rushing out, the helicopter was torn in two, and it crashed with a small explosion. "This is Arcade Base—" "Help from Bayview—" "Requesting immediate backup!" "DEMONS ARE EVERYWHERE!"
