Chapter 87 - Chapter 87 Silver Hand Fragment

Solidan expressed his determination, and the Vrykul were moved by his noble character, kneeling before him to show their reverence.

Solidan continued, "Everyone, bring all the Silver Hand fragments we've collected. I will infuse them with the Holy Light, to be left with you as seeds."

The Vrykul returned to their homes and soon brought back a pile of silver-like metal. But Gale saw at a glance that it wasn't silver at all, but an alloy.

He said to Solida n, "Could you give me some of this metal? I can exchange it for other things with you."

The Vrykul frowned. If Gale hadn't just helped Solida n, they would have certainly made him regret it.

Tyr was their guardian deity, and the Silver Hand was their tribe's sacred relic. They usually enshrined fragments of the Silver Hand in their homes, and Gale's direct request clearly violated the Vrykul's taboos.

Solidan pondered for a moment, then asked, "We don't really need so many Silver Hand fragments, but these fragments are our sacred relics and cannot be given to you lightly."

Gale smiled. Solida n's words translated to three simple words: "You need to pay more!"

The price wasn't important to him; what mattered was whether the other party wanted to trade.

"I know these fragments are very important to you, but I think whether the Holy Light can continue among your race is even more important."

The Vrykul were stunned; they hadn't expected Gale to say that. Gale was right; the Holy Light was indeed more important than the Silver Hand fragments.

Solidan quickly asked, "Do you have a way to make the Holy Light continue among my tribe?"

Gale: "Our Elf Empire has existed for thousands of years, and we have always believed in the Moon Goddess Elune. I think Tyr is to you as Elune is to us Elves. Over these thousands of years, we have built many temples, have a mature Priest Corps, and countless excellent priests. This time, fighting the Trolls, hundreds of priests came with the army, just outside the mountains. If they teach you, I think you should be able to quickly establish a religious system for the Holy Light, so that the Holy Light can continue smoothly among your tribe."

Solidan was overjoyed. He knew there was a possibility that Gale's suggestion might not be fully realized. After all, Tyr was not like Elune, and the Holy Light was not the same as the Elves' faith. But even if there was a one-in-ten-thousand chance, he was willing to try.

However, he didn't agree immediately but pondered for a moment. The Holy Light had brought him wisdom, and although this wisdom wasn't for bargaining, getting a few more "gold coins" was still good.

Gale saw his hesitant expression and knew what he was thinking. Solida n was like a man shopping, who had his eye on an item and really wanted it. He wasn't good at bargaining and was afraid of being conned by the seller, so he feigned hesitation.

At this point, just a little more incentive would definitely seal the deal.

Gale had an idea in his mind and said with a smile, "If you're worried, we can sign an alliance agreement. From today on, my family and your tribe will become allies. Both sides must help each other, and if one side is in trouble, the other must lend a hand."

"Your family?" Solida n asked in confusion, "Why not your race?"

"I can't represent the entire Elf race!" Gale shook his head and said, "The Elf Empire has hundreds of thousands of people, led by Queen Azshara. To sign an alliance with other races, one must meet Her Majesty the Queen. To be honest, with so few of you, the Queen wouldn't even look at you. Moreover, our relationship with other Vrykul isn't that good."

Solidan grumbled, "We can't be considered Vrykul."

Imiron's pursuit had made these deformed Vrykul abandon their Vrykul identity.

Gale didn't say much, only asking, "Then what should I call you?"

Solidan: "We are now called the Tirisfal Tribe, and as for the race—"

"How about Human?" Gale saw Solida n's hesitation and couldn't help but say, "You have abandoned your Vrykul identity, but the Vrykul are still your origin. Keeping the last part of the Vrykul word as your new race name can both explain your origin and give you a new future."

"Human…"

The Vrykul softly murmured the new word, feeling both familiar and strange, which made them a little uncomfortable. But Solida n's eyes lit up, "This name is good. From now on, we are Human!"

"Human!!!"

The Vrykul—no, they should now be called Human.

The people shouted their new name loudly, as if a new hope had dawned for their future.

Gale shrugged. These guys were so easy to fool. It was just a race name; it had nothing to do with hope.

However, this kind of favor could bring him greater benefits. In the future, Gale would have an even greater advantage when dealing with the descendants of these people.

"Now, can we discuss the alliance?"

Solidan instantly regained his composure, "How many people are in your family?"

Gale introduced, "The Morning Light Family only has dozens of people, but my forces number over a thousand, more than the population of your town."

He shamelessly attributed the Morning Light Family, the Mage Tower, Carlos's loyal soldiers, Maiev's Priest Corps, and the logistics troops to his forces, totaling five or six hundred people. But Solida n didn't know; he only knew that the Human town had just over four hundred people, and both in numbers and strength, they were far weaker than Gale.

Gale wasn't exactly lying to him; he would definitely continue to expand his forces in the future. The numbers might not be as many as the Humans, but the strength would absolutely be overwhelming. Even if the Humans learned the Holy Light, they could only bow down to the Mage Corps.

Solidan, representing the Humans, signed the alliance with Gale, then gave Gale half of the Silver Hand fragments.

Solidan infused the remaining half with the Holy Light. After that, the fragments became glowing objects, considered sacred relics of the Holy Light system. As long as they held these fragments, these Humans would have the courage to face any danger.

The other Humans left the mountains and found a new home north of the mountains. To commemorate Solida n's heroic feat, they named this land Solida n. Many years later, with the Cataclysm, they fled this new home. Later, they migrated eastward, but they still named a piece of land in eastern Solida n, Solida n.

Gale also chose to leave. He knew what Solida n was about to face. Although he greatly admired Solida n's character, he wasn't going to get involved in that commotion.

Millions of Trolls had fallen in the battle against the Faceless One, and Solida n, facing the Faceless One alone, was sure to die.
