For the past two days, Nevaeh had been busy preparing materials to meet Kevin's requirements.
After another sleepless night, she had barely dozed off when a knock on the door jolted her awake.
Hussein's voice came from outside, "Madam, it's time to get up! Today is the family recognition banquet. Don't be late."
Nevaeh sat up with a start.
She had been so focused on preparing the documents for Kevin that she had almost forgotten about the event, if not for Hussein's reminder.
Quickly getting dressed, she opened the door to find Hussein standing there, flanked by two servants who held a cream-colored haute couture dress, one on each side.
"Madam, this is the outfit the young master specially picked out for you. After breakfast, please put it on and we'll head out."
Nevaeh nodded and instructed them to hang the dress in the closet before rushing downstairs.
She expected to find Cassius in the living room, but to her surprise, he was nowhere to be seen.
