A week later.
At the Luke family estate, Tina held a medical report in her trembling hands, her face flushed a shy pink.
She hesitated for a moment before walking up to Mrs. Luke and softly whispered, "Mother-in-law… I'm pregnant."
Mrs. Luke glanced at the report. It bore the official stamp of the city center hospital, but she still looked doubtful.
After all, Tina had pulled more than a few reckless stunts in the past, and Mrs. Luke wasn't one to be easily convinced.
Her sharp eyes narrowed, her voice cold and direct. "Are you really pregnant?"
Tina's heart skipped nervously. She knew this old lady wasn't easy to fool.
Quickly, she lowered her gaze and said carefully, "Mother-in-law, if you don't believe me, you can have my blood tested."
Her cheeks flushed deeper as she spoke, head bowed like a timid daughter-in-law afraid to overstep.
To be sure, Mrs. Luke immediately ordered someone to draw Tina's blood for testing.
