He turned around.
"What—AHHH!!"
A full-on macho scream echoed through the cemetery.
Aquaman threw the shovel away, stumbled backward, and hid behind Lin Chen, terrified. "Master, there's a ghost!"
In the darkness, a teenage girl in flowing white stepped out, staring at them in confusion.
Late night. Cemetery. White-clad girl.
Even Lin Chen felt his hair stand on end. His perception was extremely sharp now, yet he hadn't sensed her approaching at all. That was unsettling.
He looked at her. "A fairy?"
The girl shook her head.
"A monster?"
She shook her head again.
Everyone let out a breath of relief.
"An Earthling?"
She shook her head once more.
Everyone was stunned.
The girl stepped closer. Lin Chen noticed she looked very pure—somewhat like Fei Masuo, somewhat like a super-powered assassin girl, but thinner.
She pointed at Clark's grave. "What are you doing?"
"Digging a grave," Lin Chen answered succinctly.
"But he's already dead. Are you selling the corpse?"
Aquaman relaxed once he realized she was just a normal girl. "Kid, go home and sleep. We're doing something big here."
"Are you stealing Superman's body to sell it?!" The girl became angry. Her eyes turned red, looking eerie in the night.
Diana asked curiously, "You know Clark is Superman?"
The girl nodded.
Lin Chen looked at her. "We're friends of Clark's. We mean no harm."
She hummed softly. "I believe you."
Aquaman was puzzled. "Why do you believe him?"
"Because he's the most handsome man I've ever seen," the girl said seriously.
Lin Chen nodded. Very few girls had such correct values.
Aquaman nearly collapsed. "Then you should trust me too."
The girl shook her head firmly. "Sorry. You're not handsome."
Aquaman felt like crying. Was it really necessary to suffer this kind of emotional damage in the middle of the night?
Diana was also a bit speechless. She pulled the girl closer. "What's your name? Are you from a nearby town?"
"My name is Kara Zor-El. I'm from Krypton."
She pointed at Superman's tombstone.

The two snorted and turned away.
Kara blinked. "Earthlings don't seem very harmonious either."
Iron Man was stunned when he learned she was Superman's cousin—
