Becky POV
My jaw tightened. I couldn't transform now; I wasn't strong yet.
My wolf was weak. I've not heard from her; that was my last resort to escape this place.
"I'd protect you," the masked man roared at me.
"Looks like you need it more," I snapped back at him as I sliced through every claw that stood in my way.
My face stained red like a monster, my gaze turned red.
At the other side Natalie screamed, creating a barrier that made some wolves stumble, spitting blood.
One shouted "Get her! Mum, she is in the basement." The wolves tried to hold me back while the other rushed to the basement.
Who had told them? My eyes scanned everyone fighting.
There was a traitor here.
I dashed down the basement, fighting my way through. Werewolves couldn't stop me.
Then a new sound echoed outside: a heavier explosion. Someone else had joined the fight. Not werewolves. Humans. The enemies of the Masked Man.
Chaos upon chaos.
