The Human Torch floated in the air, flames dancing around him like fiery sprites. He looked down at Eddie from above, a smile of utter contempt on his lips. The sunlight reflecting off his burning body made his arrogance even more apparent. Flames blazed in his hands, weaving dazzling light, his voice filled with disdain and mockery.
"Look at this," the Human Torch said lazily. "A lump of black mud, or an alien bug that crawled onto the wrong Planet?"
Eddie stood among the ruins, Venom's black liquid form writhing over him, shimmering with an eerie glow. He raised his head, Venom's mask receding from his face, revealing his impatient expression.
"Hey, I really should thank you for giving me a sense of identity as a new species," Eddie said, spreading his hands, his tone thick with sarcasm. "But shouldn't a narcissistic matchstick man like you learn some basic manners?"
"Manners?" the Human Torch scoffed, flames flaring up as if in response to his emotions. "Towards a disgusting blob of slime? You should be glad I haven't roasted you into charcoal."
Venom suddenly expanded over Eddie, forming a ferocious black armor. A gap of fangs revealed an exaggerated grin, and he muttered lowly, "He looks like a kid who just learned how to grill today, doesn't he?"
Eddie rolled his eyes. "Come on, Venom, stop giving him more fuel. I don't want to face a completely burnt battle."
The Human Torch's eyes narrowed slightly, and he raised his palm, flames swirling in the air, gradually forming a massive fireball. He said coldly, "Very well. Since you're so eager to challenge my patience, I'll indulge you."
Before he finished speaking, the fireball hurtled towards Eddie like a meteor. Eddie quickly dodged, and Venom extended several black tentacles from his back, diverting the fireball to the side. The flames struck the ground, the Impact of the explosion kicking up a cloud of dust.
"What are you doing, giving me a magic matchstick show?" Venom grinned, his voice low and hoarse, full of mockery.
Eddie rubbed his temples. "We might need a more serious strategy instead of just laughing at him."
The Human Torch flew high into the sky again, flames condensing into two burning long blades in his palms. He swiftly dove down, charging directly at Eddie with scorching momentum.
Venom's tentacles shot out, attempting to block the Human Torch, but the scorching flames easily burned the tentacles, making them curl back. The Human Torch sneered, kicking Eddie in the chest, sending sparks flying.
Eddie was knocked back repeatedly by the fierce blow, but he quickly regained his footing, Venom rapidly covering his entire body, repairing the burn marks. He looked up, staring at the Human Torch in the air, his voice carrying a hint of impatience. "You're really annoying."
"Oh? Is that your last word?" the Human Torch said, swinging his burning long blades, charging at Eddie again.
Venom's face emerged from Eddie's shoulder, grinning with a mouth full of fangs. "This guy is so noisy. Can we make him shut up?"
Eddie curled his lips. "I was thinking the same thing."
As soon as he finished speaking, Venom's tentacles wrapped around the Human Torch's wrists like snakes, slightly restraining his movements. Eddie seized the opportunity, flipped over, and lunged forward, Venom's claws slamming fiercely into the Human Torch's chest, sending him flying several meters.
The Human Torch stabilized himself in the air, his eyes burning with even fiercer rage. He raised his hands, flames burning violently like a blaze in a hurricane, the temperature of the entire battlefield instantly rising.
"You lowly things, don't think that just because you can touch me means you're qualified to stand here." The Human Torch's voice turned icy, the flames around him seemingly ready to devour everything.
Eddie watched the scene and shook his head. "What an emotional kid. Venom, I think we need to step it up."
Venom's fangs parted, emitting a low chuckle. "Alright, let's see how long this matchstick man can last."
The Human Torch hovered in the air, his arm slightly raised, scorching flames pouring from his palm like flowing water, converging into a row of burning gun barrels. He tilted his head slightly, a cruel smile appearing at the corner of his mouth, as if admiring the masterpiece he was about to unleash.
"How about this? Ever seen a flame Gatling gun?" His voice was full of provocation, accompanied by the crackling of flames, a wave of scorching energy quickly spreading.
The Human Torch pushed his palm forward, and the flame gun barrels immediately unleashed a barrage of scorching fire bullets, each one whistling through the air as they shot towards Eddie. The air above the ground was slightly distorted by the high temperature, as if the whole World had been thrown into a furnace.
"This guy actually has some creativity," Venom's voice was low and hoarse, sounding in Eddie's ear, though with a hint of a sneer.
"Creativity? This is a lunatic playing with a flamethrower." Eddie leaped to the side, his body nimbly weaving through the gaps in the flames. Venom extended several black tentacles from his body, quickly grabbing the surrounding ruins and pushing aside the burning fireballs.
A fire bullet exploded at his feet, the violent Impact knocking Eddie to the ground. Venom quickly covered his entire body, forming a thick layer of protection, blocking the aftermath of the explosion.
"These toys are just appetizers." The Human Torch suddenly turned in the air, clapped his hands together, and two balls of flame condensed into massive energy spheres, spinning wildly in his hands.
"Next, the main course." He suddenly swung his arms, and two flame bombs streaked across the sky like meteors, carrying suffocating heat waves directly towards Eddie.
Venom suddenly shot up from behind Eddie, fangs bared, tentacles quickly wrapping around a piece of nearby rubble, throwing it towards the flame bomb in the air. An explosion roared, flames and debris scattered, and Venom's body quickly covered Eddie, completely blocking the aftermath.
"Come on, does he think he's in a sci-fi movie?" Venom grinned with a mouth full of fangs, his tone teasing.
Eddie stood up, dusting off his shoulders. "He really is like a special effects fanatic. But we're not just background props, we need to let him know we're not to be trifled with."
Venom's tentacles stretched out like mad snakes, pulling the surrounding ruins into a barrier, blocking the Human Torch's line of sight. At the same time, Eddie quickly circled out from the side, his legs suddenly pushing off, Venom's power erupting at this moment, propelling him towards the Human Torch like a cannonball.
"You're looking for death!" the Human Torch roared, his figure suddenly flipping in the air, his palm once again condensing a sheet of scorching flames, setting the entire sky ablaze.
Venom's tentacles suddenly spread open, blocking in front of Eddie like a giant shield, forcibly taking the Human Torch's attack. Venom's voice was low and pleased. "The heat is good, but your tricks really aren't impressive enough."
Eddie took advantage of the gap to close in on the Human Torch, Venom's tentacles turning into blades, stabbing directly at the opponent's chest. The Human Torch's eyes narrowed, flames erupting from his shoulders, cutting the tentacles in half.
"What disgusting things." The Human Torch sneered, crossing his palms, a scorching flame whirlwind erupting around him, directly forcing Eddie and Venom back.
Eddie was knocked back a few steps by the Impact, Venom quickly re-condensing and covering him. Eddie took a breath and grinned. "Flame Gatling gun, flame bombs, and a whirlwind. Is this guy trying to get certified as a flame magician?"
Venom hissed lowly, "Let him show off a few more times, and next time, he won't be in charge."
The Human Torch's smile gradually became ferocious, his figure suddenly swirling in the air, a scorching flame tornado rushing towards the ground, turning the ruins into ash.
Venom's tentacles shot out from Eddie's shoulder, grabbing a huge metal plate, and slamming it fiercely towards the flame tornado. Eddie quickly leaped up using Venom's strength, circling around the tornado's side to get behind the Human Torch, his fists, transformed into blades by Venom, stabbing directly at the opponent's armor.
The Human Torch suddenly turned around, swinging his arm, scorching flames colliding head-on with Venom's blades, erupting in a deafening roar. The two were locked in a stalemate in the air, the power of fire and darkness devouring each other.
"Don't get cocky too soon, matchstick man!" Eddie roared, Venom's tentacles suddenly swelling, forcing the Human Torch back several steps.
The Human Torch gasped, a dangerous light flashing in his eyes. "Looks like I need to add something."
The flames covering the Human Torch's entire body instantly expanded, a scorching heat wave surging outwards from him, even the air emitting a piercing hum. His eyes gleamed with pride and anger within the flames, his whole body completely engulfed by burning fire, like a giant of flame walking out of hell.
"Enough! I've had enough of your ridiculous struggles!" The Human Torch's voice was like thunder, filled with oppression. He suddenly raised his arms, flames bursting from his body, shooting straight into the sky, dyeing the sky a scorching red-orange.
Eddie and Venom were pushed back several steps by this sudden surge of power. Venom's black body quickly retracted, wrapping Eddie's body even tighter. Eddie clenched his teeth, his hands forming fists, trying to steady himself.
"Is he crazy? This guy is like a walking volcano." Venom growled in Eddie's ear, his tone uneasy.
"Stop talking nonsense, let's figure out how not to get burned into charcoal first." Eddie's voice lowered slightly, his gaze fixed on the flame giant in front of him.
The Human Torch sneered, crossing his hands over his chest, scorching flames rapidly gathering like living things, then with a fierce swing, dozens of flame blades rained down on Eddie. Each blade carried destructive heat, slicing through the ground, leaving behind charred cracks.
Venom's tentacles suddenly extended from Eddie's body, attempting to block the flame blades, but the scorching high temperature burned the tentacles, making them twist and curl back, emitting painful hisses. Eddie had to quickly leap up, trying to avoid the deadly attacks, but the heat wave still hit him, stinging his skin.
"This guy is serious now!" Venom roared again, his tentacles barely managing to pull up a metal plate to block in front of him, but it was blasted into fragments by the flames in the next second.
Eddie rolled and landed, getting up with a gasp. His chest rose and fell unevenly, the sweat on his forehead rapidly evaporating from the high temperature. He looked up, staring at the Human Torch in front of him, who showed no signs of slowing down, his voice containing a hint of annoyance. "You're really not afraid of burning up all the oxygen, matchstick man."
"What if I burn it all up? Every bit of air here belongs to me!" The Human Torch suddenly lifted his foot and stomped heavily on the ground. Flames erupted from his foot as the center, like a burning tsunami, quickly sweeping outwards, forcing Eddie into a corner.
Venom's voice became low and angry. "This time, it's up to me, Eddie. He wants to use fire, so we'll let him feel our strength."
"Come on, hurry up and do something!" Eddie roared, Venom's black liquid rapidly spreading from his body, forming a massive barrier.
The Human Torch suddenly leaped up, his arms spread wide, flames condensing into a dazzling fireball in his palms. He didn't hesitate to hurl the fireball at Eddie, the fireball tracing a scorching arc through the air, the air trembling wherever it passed.
Venom's tentacles suddenly extended, coiling up all the surrounding debris to form a barrier, attempting to block the Impact of the fireball. But the power of the explosion exceeded all expectations, the massive shockwave violently knocking Eddie to the ground, several scorched cracks appearing on the surface of Venom's armor.
"How is this matchstick man's firepower getting stronger?" Venom's voice held a hint of unease.
"His arrogance hasn't peaked yet." Eddie gritted his teeth and stood up, his body swaying for a moment before he regained his balance. He looked up, staring at the Human Torch in the air, a spark of defiance igniting in his eyes.
The Human Torch hovered in mid-air, looking down at Eddie below, a winner's smile on his face. "Is this all you've got? You really disappoint me. I thought alien parasites would be more interesting."
Venom counterattacked fiercely, tentacles shooting up from the ground, attempting to grab the Human Torch's ankle, but the scorching flames instantly burned the tentacles, scattering them.
Eddie gasped, but his gaze grew even more determined. "Don't get cocky, matchstick man. This fight isn't over yet."
