"It's not much of stargazing if there are no stars to gaze at," Zira groaned to Korra as they lay sprawled on her bed, sharing a bag of chips.
"Tomorrow night, then?" Korra asked, sounding hopeful.
"If there are stars, sure." Zira laughed, tossing a chip into her mouth.
Across the room, Willow sat on her bed, her eyes focused on the glow of her laptop as she went through the data Navian had sent her. The steady rhythm of typing filled the quiet between the girls' chatter.
She couldn't help but glance their way because Zira and Korra seemed to have made up after whatever argument they were having, and seeing them laugh brought a small smile to Willow's face.
Her phone buzzed beside the keyboard. She picked it up to see a time reminder of dinner.
She and Evren had been texting all evening and finally settled on dinner at 8 p.m.
Willow was relieved it wouldn't clash with the midnight meeting she had planned with her new team.
