Mira's eyes scanned the cell, her mind racing with possibilities. She knew she had to escape, but how? The guards were always watching, and Leo's orders were clear: keep her contained.
As she ate the food and drank the water, Mira's thoughts turned to her situation. She was trapped, with no clear way out. But she refused to give up.
Suddenly, an idea struck her. She remembered the way the guard had looked at her, the flicker of sympathy in his eyes. Maybe, just maybe, she could use that to her advantage.
Mira waited until the guard came to collect the tray. "Thank you," she said, her voice soft and vulnerable. "I'm so scared. Please, can you help me?"
The guard's eyes narrowed, his expression unreadable. But Mira saw something there, a glimmer of uncertainty. He looked around nervously, then leaned in close.
"What's going on?" he whispered. "Why is Leo holding you captive?"
Mira's heart skipped a beat. This was her chance. She took a deep breath and spun a tale of deceit and betrayal, weaving a story that would tug at the guard's heartstrings.
