Gaia didn't know how to react.She had been taken aback by the sheer boldness and ambition of the rival dungeon.She knew however that she would never bow down or submit to anyone.She was untameable.
"I refuse your offer."
There was a pause as the rival dungeon stopped talking to comprehend what she had just said.
"I see...then I'll take your core by force."
[Warning:A dungeon war between the Grynkor dungeon and the Gaia dungeon has begun.]
[To win this war you must collect the enemies core from their dungeon and bring it to yours.The enemy core must then make contact with your own core to be absorbed.]
[This dungeon war can only have one victor.]
The disgusting creature of the other dungeon leapt into the air and grabbed the drone that had been hovering there.Using its grip strengh the drone crumpled inwards.The light in the scout drones lense went dull.
The drone dissolved but neither Gaia nor the other dungeon recieved essence from the scout drones death.
"I see now...no wonder I recieved no essence from its destruction.It was just a creation of mana.I look forward to killing your denizens and learning their secrets."
Gaia subconsciously bristled in rage at the threat of having her denizens murdered.Who did this rival dungeon think he was?
A figure came running our of the forest and beelined towards the intruder.The intruder noticed the human rushing towards it.It glanced with interest at the humans form and figure as well as its presence.
"Hmmmm a bit of a dull design.I don't see any major natural weaponry or aesthetic features.He possesses some presence but I'm not too impressed.You must be quite the low level dungeon."
The intruder and human then charged towards each other.Joshua and the intruder appeared to be equal in terms of speed but the intruder clearly possessed greater physical strengh with its steps thundering into the earth beneath it.
Joshua noticed this and when the intruder slashed out with its claws he stepped back a bit to avoid it.He then thrust forward with his spear but the intruder raised different arm in front of itself to block the metal spear point.The spear head partially dug into the scales of the fleshy construct but it was a superficial wound to such a foe.
As Joshua attempted to remove his spear,three of the creatures smaller limbs let out one punch each.One hit Joshua's head,the other hit Joshua's shoulder and another hit Joshua's side.
The limbs were stumpy and malformed but the force behind them left bruises on Joshua's skin with the hit to the head sending him reeling.
As Joshua leapt back to quickly recover his bearings.The flesh construct let out some slashes and punches with its main limbs and shorter limbs.The sheer effort of parrying these strikes sent tremors up Joshua's arms and dodging them was more difficult.When dodging the larger limbs he would leave himself open unintentionally to the shorter limbs.
Joshua was beginning to rack up bruises and cuts on his body and the intruder turned and hit him with a bony tail whip.Joshua attempted to block with his spear but the force behind the tail whip was too much and he got sent flying to the side.
Joshua quietly stood up and looked at the flesh construct who just stood there thinking it would be an easy victory.
"You pass"
Joshua activated the berserker rage skill.Though this time was different to the last time as Joshua knew what to expect.He didn't allow the rage to overcome or control him.He didn't possess perfect or full control over the skill yet but he didn't go into a savage frenzy this time around or let go of his weapon.
The Grynkor dungeon who was pupperteering one of his denizens creations was confused.It clearly felt the flux of mana yet there was no chant from the creature.It braced itself in preparation for an attack but the only thing it noticed was the rage filled expression on the creature.
Joshua moved and he did so rapidly.The flesh construct attempted to lash out with one of its larger limbs.Joshua however curved his charge and stepped inside the flesh constructs reach.Before the intruder could seize upon this opportunity his scaled knee was stabbed.
The intruder stumbled only to get hit underneath its chin by the butt of the creatures spear.
The Grynkor dungeon flew into a rage as it was getting manhandled.
"DON'T GET AHEAD OF YOURSELF PEST.I HAVEN'T EVEN USED MY MAGIC YET."
