Joshua knew why Arther wanted him to finish off the intruder and didn't think much of it as he stepped forward and stabbed his spear into the creatures skull.
After all Arther was unable to gain experience and didn't level up the usual way.His strengh depended on the strengh of the human race.The intruder and Grynkor dungeon didn't know this however and took this as an insult.
"YOU DARE INSULT ME BY HAVING A PEST I DEFEATED FINISH ME OFF.I'LL-"
The intruder was unable to finish talking as the spear head embedded itself into its brain and it died.Joshua's body began to glow golden as he felt a familiar sensation.
Joshua levelled up to level 2 with his body growing stronger and his presence growing stronger and more substantial.He gained ten extra respawns.He also gained a new epic rank skill and it was an interesting one too.

[Gain the ability to obtain and equip skull trophies from fallen foes.These skull trophies are able to grant passive buffs and sometimes active abilities.Up to 20 skulls may be equipped.]
As the corpse of the flesh and bone construct started dissolving it dropped a skull trophy.It was a miniature version of the constructs skull though which meant it wouldn't take up too much space.Joshua had the option to equip it which he did.
A large belt with hooks appeared on Joshua's abdomen with the skull trophy hanging from one of the hooks.The trophy appeared to grant a passive boost to durability and strengh.Joshua could feel the power flowing though his body.He was now a bit stronger then an elite human of the same level.
Joshua then saw Arther level up to level 2 due to his own level up.

Gaia was pleased and yet worried.Were all the rival dungeon's denizens that strong.She would have to get her humans to train some more.She had gotten complacent.She had got some achievements.She had also levelled up.

Gaia was immediately faced with a choice after levelling up.
[Option 1:Gain the ability to empower and evolve your humans into higher tier humans.For example a normal human into an elite human or a elite human into a boss human.To use this ability on a human they need to have a high amount of merit and accomplishment.]
[Option 2:Gain the ability to temporarily inhabit the body of one of your humans when they engage in battle.This will greatly empower the human.If the human is too weak then they will break,overload or simply explode.]
[Option 3:All your humans gain the common rank appraisal skill.This skill will enable them to gain information from anything they look at.This skill doesn't work on far stronger enemies.]
Gaia didn't really need the third option just yet as what she needed the most was battle strengh right now.The second option was useful but limited.The first option was the most useful and promising.She went with option 1.
Gaia then checked her resources.It had filled back up and even increased.

Gordon Lazuli summoned Gideon Fleece and looked at him.Gideon Fleece was curious as to why he was summoned.
"Do you know why I have called you?"
Gideon shrugged his shoulders genuinely confused.Had he done something wrong.
"The two guards we had stationed in front of the Gaia dungeon have died."
Gideon was immediately startled as his mind moved to one conclusion.
"Has the Gaia dungeon already broken out...but how?The Gaia dungeon isn't even five days old.How could it possibly break out?"
The azure drake simply stared at the lizardman calmly.
"It isn't confirmed and is likely untrue.What is more likely is that the Grynkor dungeon has made contact with the Gaia dungeon and initiated a dungeon war."
Gideon breathed a sigh of relief and then became startled.
"A dungeon war?What's that?"
The azure drake wasn't surprised by Gideons ignorance as dungeon wars were considered confidential information.It simply calmly explained.
"The information I tell you must never leave this room.Do you understand?"
