Chapter 202 - Three-Tails?

Chapter 202: Three-Tails?

"Hatake Yusuke, stop your attack! Kirigakure will no longer fight over the Three-Tails!" Mei Terumi shouted firmly, her voice echoing with authority.

"Oh? Did you really think I came all this way just to claim the power of the Three-Tails?" Yusuke chuckled loudly. "Hah! If that beast couldn't even handle a single strike from me, what else does it have to offer?"

"You bastard! Are you trying to kill us all?!" Mei yelled, anger and urgency mixed in her voice.

"Oh? You can't handle it?" Yusuke replied, calm as ever.

"This level of destruction is a natural disaster! How do you expect us to stop it?!" Mei snapped.

"In that case, why don't you ask for my help? Who knows, I might be willing to save you," Yusuke said with a smirk, clearly enjoying the situation.

Mei Terumi's face paled.

She was the Fifth Mizukage—the leader of Kirigakure. Begging for help in front of her subordinates? That would mean discarding all pride and honor as a Kage. But with that enormous storm of lightning still brewing in the sky above, did she really have a choice?

"…Please. I ask you… stop this," she finally said through gritted teeth.

"Hm? What was that? Could you speak up a little?" Yusuke teased, pretending not to hear her.

"I said I'm begging you!!" Mei finally shouted, her voice cracking.

"Hahaha! Very well. You're all free to live. But in exchange, this island is mine," Yusuke declared.

"What?! This island?" Mei's brows furrowed.

"You've seen it for yourself—this place is on the verge of total collapse. Wouldn't it be better off in my hands rather than reduced to rubble?" Yusuke replied, glancing around. Even shrouded in mist, the island was… beautiful.

"No way! This island is part of the Land of Water's territory!" Mei rejected his demand outright.

If she allowed him to take the island, it would be a disgrace to Kirigakure. The world would see it as a loss of sovereignty to Konohagakure. Worse yet, it might spark a full-scale war or further destabilize the region.

"This island may not be one of your major holdings, but it's not some no-name rock either. There are no civilians here. How about this—I'll let you seal the Three-Tails, and in return, I'll take this island. Decide quickly, time's running out," Yusuke said, his tone calm yet commanding.

"I want to know—why do you want this island?" Mei pressed. "You do realize that if Konoha shinobi are seen here, it'll be considered an act of aggression."

"Relax. This island will be relocated to Konoha territory," Yusuke answered. "This is also a direct order from someone very important on my side."

"Relocated to Konoha…?" Mei looked stunned but eventually nodded. "Fine. I accept."

"I'd better act fast. Otherwise, this island really will be reduced to ash," Yusuke said, stretching his neck slightly.

"Activate: Gear Five – Solar Deity."

His body began to change.

Behind him, flames swirled and ignited, forming a radiant, spinning sun. His clothes turned completely white.

(Note: This is not Sage of Six Paths Mode.)

"Great Ape King's Strength."

Yusuke's arms bulged outward, growing to colossal proportions—each one large enough to rival a small island.

With overwhelming might, he raised one fist and smashed through the thunderclouds above, scattering the storm like shattered glass.

Lightning surged in every direction, but Yusuke calmly reached out, drawing all the electricity back into his hand and crushing it into nothing.

"That's… that's the body-enlarging technique of the Akimichi Clan, right? But this is on a whole different level…" Ao muttered, wide-eyed.

"No… there's not even a trace of Yang Release chakra in that technique," Mei murmured, equally stunned.

Yusuke had intentionally taken this form to minimize damage to the island. Though he could've erected a barrier, once lightning reached a certain voltage, the resulting heat would burn through everything—including chakra shields.

(Think of it like using a magnifying glass to ignite something—the barrier would still melt.)

"Alright, it's done."

Yusuke turned to the beast. "Now then, Three-Tails… what's your choice? Want to keep fighting, or will you allow yourself to be sealed by Kirigakure? It's up to you."

"And how am I supposed to know which one's the right choice?" Isobu muttered lazily.

"Figure it out. That's not my job," Yusuke shrugged, clearly uninterested in explaining further.

The Three-Tails let out a long sigh. No doubt about it—he didn't want to die.

In the end, he allowed himself to be sealed inside a young shinobi of Kirigakure—a direct descendant of Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage.

"Thank you, Lord Hatake."

Mei Terumi smiled elegantly, her mood clearly lifted now that the Tailed Beast had been secured.

"Haha, no problem. Lady Tsunade asked me to hand over the Three-Tails to you anyway. And besides—this island is mine now," Yusuke said nonchalantly.

Mei's expression soured again. This guy... seriously annoying.

"Can I ask something? Why would Lady Tsunade agree to hand over a Tailed Beast?" Mei asked, still suspicious.

After all, Tailed Beasts were weapons of war. No village would give them up lightly.

"Oh, that?" Yusuke rubbed the back of his neck. "She just didn't want the hassle. I mean, sure, the Three-Tails is weak, but it's still a pain to manage. If the Jinchūriki loses control, the damage could be massive. And if that happens, Tsunade won't be able to slack off anymore."

He grinned. He knew Tsunade inside and out. She was the first woman to ever step into his life—there's no way her motives could escape his eyes.

But for Mei, that explanation was… hard to accept. Seriously? Because she didn't want the trouble?

In truth, Tsunade's decision had been carefully calculated.

Konoha had no ideal candidate to host the Three-Tails. And even if they found someone, should the Jinchūriki ever go berserk while Yusuke wasn't around, Tsunade and Kakashi would have to personally step in.

They were both strong enough to handle the Three-Tails, but if Kakashi's sword techniques and Tsunade's monstrous strength were unleashed near the village, the collateral damage would be catastrophic.

Yusuke was the only one with space-time ninjutsu like the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Tsunade and Kakashi couldn't teleport.

So if Yusuke wasn't there, things would get out of hand fast.

And honestly… the Three-Tails was just too weak.

What was the Three-Tails, really?

Answer: An ugly pet.

Among all the Nine Tailed Beasts, Isobu was arguably the ugliest of the bunch.

Back to the story—

"Alright then. Since the deal's sealed, I'll be taking this island now."

Yusuke placed both hands on the ground.

The island trembled violently, then slowly began to rise from the sea.

"Now, time for you all to leave," he said, removing the cloth from his eyes.

His striking face was now fully visible—handsome beyond compare, framed by fierce ocean-blue eyes glowing with authority.

At that moment, a wave of power exploded from his body, forcing the Kirigakure shinobi back several steps.

"Damn it… You bastard!" Mei shouted, glaring at him.

But a faint blush bloomed on her cheeks.

Still… he really is handsome.
