Chapter 200 - The Rampaging Three‑Tails

Chapter 200 – The Rampaging Three‑Tails

"Easy? You think that's easy? Do you know how much research it takes to make a fortress like that float!?" Tsunade barked, clearly annoyed.

"But it really is easy, I swear. If you want, I could build you one right now," Yusuke replied casually, reclining in her chair like it was his own office.

Tsunade stared at him with utter disbelief. She was well aware of Yusuke's ridiculous powers, but seeing him float buildings without any visible support still defied logic.

"I really can't deal with you," she muttered, rubbing her forehead.

Yusuke reached out and ruffled her hair gently.

Without another word, he vanished—teleporting out the window, high into the sky.

"Tempest Kick: Lion's Fang Slash Valley!" Yusuke called out mid‑air.

A cutting arc of wind surged outward like a lion's fang cleaving through the sky. It struck the outer border of Konohagakure with precision.

The entire Hidden Leaf Village suddenly trembled, and then—rose.

"Float," Yusuke said with a casual flick of his hand.

Instantly, the entire village began to rise, slowly ascending beyond the treetops, past the mountain faces, and into the clouds.

Moments later, Yusuke reappeared inside the Hokage's office.

"It's… really floating…" Shikamaru whispered, his mouth slightly agape.

"See? I told you it was easy," Yusuke said with a smug grin aimed at Tsunade.

She glared at him. "And what if one day you get lazy or distracted? What happens if Konoha falls from the sky?"

"Impossible. I've set it to float permanently," Yusuke replied with a shrug.

"WHAT!?" Tsunade's eyes widened in panic. "You should've said that first! Put the village back down—NOW!"

"You didn't ask," Yusuke replied nonchalantly, raising his hand.

The massive floating village began to descend once more, settling gently back into place.

"ANBU!" Tsunade suddenly shouted.

"Yes, Lady Hokage?" one of the masked shinobi appeared instantly at her side.

"Make a public announcement. Calm the villagers down and explain the situation," she ordered.

Then she turned to Yusuke again. "Are you absolutely sure the village could float forever?"

"Of course. Actually… you can even ask me how much I can lift," Yusuke replied with an amused smirk.

"…How much can you lift?" Tsunade asked suspiciously.

"Hm… not sure exactly. Maybe the entire Land of Fire?" Yusuke answered, sounding genuinely uncertain.

"The… whole… country?" Even Kakashi's eyes widened in disbelief.

"That's incredible," Tsunade murmured, then turned to Kakashi. "Call Guy. Have him scout out any unclaimed islands. Mark them."

"But Sis‑in‑Law… I just got back…" Kakashi said, clearly exhausted.

"Stop whining. Just go. And call me Lady Hokage, got it?" Tsunade shot him a sharp glare.

Kakashi glanced at his older brother, silently begging for help.

Yusuke just shrugged with a helpless expression, as if to say, I've got nothing for you, man.

"…Yes, Lady Hokage," Kakashi muttered, sighing dramatically as he rolled his eyes.

"Alright, the rest of you can return and get some rest," Tsunade added.

She wasn't the type to overwork her people—but when it came to family like Kakashi, she had no problem 'putting them to good use.'

After all, it wouldn't be long before he inherited the Hokage seat. It made sense to build up his reputation in advance.

A few days later, Kakashi and Guy returned from the Land of Water. They reported finding several uncharted islands that weren't listed on any official maps.

But even more surprising—they'd discovered the Three‑Tails, Isobu, roaming wild.

"The Three‑Tails?" Tsunade's eyes narrowed sharply.

"Yusuke. Go capture it," she ordered without hesitation.

"Why me? I don't want to," Yusuke replied lazily, lounging in the Hokage's chair with his legs on the table, nibbling on something sweet.

"Akatsuki is hunting the Tailed Beasts. What if they get to it first?" Tsunade said, her voice grave.

"Yeah, yeah… what a pain," Yusuke muttered, clearly uninterested. Truth be told, part of him wanted the Ten‑Tails to awaken already.

"Besides, why are we even trying to catch that giant turtle? Don't tell me you want to weaponize it?"

"Of course not," Tsunade answered. "We could either secure it in the floating territory… or hand it over to Kirigakure. If it goes on a rampage, regular shinobi can't stop it. Better to let the Mist Village handle it—we might even earn goodwill or compensation."

"…Not bad," Yusuke smirked. "You're sounding more and more like a true Hokage, Tsuna‑chan."

"I am the Hokage," Tsunade said proudly.

"Alright, since you put it that way, I'll go," Yusuke relented with a shrug.

For him, chasing down a Tailed Beast was like playing with a pet. And anyway, he had a few things to check near Kirigakure.

In an instant, Yusuke teleported to the Land of Water.

"Hmm. He's hiding his chakra quite well…" he muttered, scanning the area before teleporting again—this time to the specific island where Isobu was hiding.

"…Well, well. That's a familiar face," he mused, floating above.

Below, a graceful, sharp‑eyed woman stood flanked by Kirigakure shinobi.

"Reporting in, Lady Mizukage. This is the location where the Three‑Tails was last detected," a ninja said respectfully.

"Ao. Use your Byakugan. Track its movements," Mei Terumi ordered firmly.

After the Six‑Tails incident, she wasn't about to make the same mistake twice.

"The Three‑Tails is submerged beneath the lake, Lady Mizukage," Ao reported.

"Understood. Everyone prepare for combat. I'll draw it out myself."

"You can't! It's too dangerous! You mustn't put yourself at risk!" Ao protested.

"I'm the Mizukage. And I'm the only one who can lure it out," Mei replied with unwavering authority.

She turned and dove into the water without hesitation.

After swimming for a while, she finally spotted the massive form of the Three‑Tails.

But the moment Isobu saw her—he bolted. No signs of aggression. Just retreat.

The Tailed Beast instinctively recognized Mei as a serious threat. He wanted no part of her.

Even though Isobu had an overwhelming advantage underwater—just like Shukaku did in the desert—he was cautious by nature. He fled the moment danger presented itself.

"Water Style: Water Whip!" Mei launched a long stream of water at Isobu's back.

The attack cracked across his shell—but Isobu's natural armor held strong.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!" A massive water dragon surged upward toward the beast.

Sensing danger, Isobu summoned a reverse current and countered the attack, dispersing the water flow before resuming his escape.

'I need to force him to the surface,' Mei thought.

Underwater, she couldn't fully utilize her kekkei genkai techniques.

She swam hard, closing the gap.

"Water Style: Raging Torrent Formation!" A whirlpool burst forth beneath Isobu, pushing upward with immense force.

But Isobu wasn't having it. He launched a countercurrent, then slammed his tails violently. The resulting pressure wave slammed into Mei, sending her hurtling backward.

Realizing the disadvantage, Mei retreated to the surface. Fighting underwater was simply too unfavorable for her.

Capturing Isobu wouldn't be easy. It would require a calculated strategy.

Isobu didn't pursue. He still felt Mei's threatening presence and wasn't willing to risk it.

"Lady Mizukage, you've returned," Ao said.

"That creature's overly cautious…" muttered one of the Mist shinobi. Mei furrowed her brow in frustration.

Suddenly, a calm voice echoed through the air.

"Good afternoon, Kirigakure."

Everyone in the area immediately snapped to alert.
