Chapter 8 - Rewarded for my good deeds.

As we finished up with the bad guys, four lived, one died. She understood that the one I had killed was in self-defense, but I knew Batman wasn't going to like that. But I didn't want to kill unless I had to, and I was out of options at that point.

We were on our way to the league's training hall as I opened the system.

(Host has stopped four robbers and healed two injured people, earning him 110 Good Act skill points and $11,000. The host has killed one person, gaining 50 Evil Act skill points and 50 stat points.)

This made me shocked as I have 160 Good Act skill points now, and I am already halfway to getting another Evil skill. I may have to kill those for robbers in their dreams tonight if I am rewarded so much from it, I thought to myself.

I spun the Good skill wheel and started to look at the Stat screen, deciding that I still need to focus on Spirit and Recovery if I don't want to be weak when I need my skills. Putting half in each before nodding as the Good skill wheel stopped making my eyes widen as I smiled.

(Host has been rewarded with Hashirama Senju's Wood release. This skill allows the host to use his moves with the right-hand signs. Be warned, the bigger the move, the more Ability Energy is needed. His lowest moves cost 25 energy per cast.)

Well damn, it's a gift but also so hard to use right now. I can use his lower skills, but from the looks of it, even his top-tier moves need a few hundred to cast, meaning I could at best use one or two max. I made up my mind to kill the last four robbers tonight, so I can get those sweet stat points and dump more into my Spirit.

"We are here, and don't be too upset about killing him. Most members will understand, bar a few that may hold it against you, but at the end of the day, your life was on the line." She said, still worried, as I hadn't spoken the whole ride, as I smiled and nodded. "As long as you don't hold it against me, I can handle others," I said, making her eyes light up.

"I won't ever hate you for anything you do, after all, you have shown nothing but kindness to me and those I hold dear." She said, hugging me in the car. I smiled at this, as I have now become someone significant to her, so she will be more forgiving of some stuff. Now I just need to work on Barbara some more, and they will come to terms with each other in due time.

"Let's get you tested. Who knows? Maybe you can do a mission with me sometime." She said happily with the idea of us doing a mission with each other, as I smiled and nodded my head as we exited the car. The building was pretty huge as we walked towards it, and I noticed a lot of male superheroes that I tried to avoid if need be.

"Can we get a training room, and someone to gauge his physical abilities? His physical abilities are around twice the average human adult male. I have witnessed that already. I wish to know his Ice power ranking and healing power." She said to the lady working the desk as I smiled at her.

I think I will keep my wood release a secret until I have more Energy for it and will only use it when I need to, as I have to use the hand signs, and right now I know none of them. "Right this way, Black Canary." She said as she stood up, showing me her hourglass figure. Well, damn, now I have to kill the bad guys and invade her dreams, as I noticed a ring on her finger. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound.

We walked down a long hallway and entered a big room. "May I know the name you go by? Superhero name will be fine." She said with her tablet in hand as I thought for a moment. Well, since I am using Sub-Zero's powers and can't think of a fitting name right now, as my abilities are all over the place.

"You can use the name, Sub-Zero. That should do for now, as I don't know what to call myself." I said, shrugging my shoulders, and she smiled, putting it into the tablet as she spoke. "We will make it a Temporary name until you have one you like, or you can keep it." She said.

First, we will see how cold your ice can become." She said as a tower started to come out from the floor, about as tall as a human. "Please place your hand on it and use your ability." She explained as I walked forward and placed my hand on it. My ability activates, and she gasps.

"It reachs, -500° Fahrenheit. That's amazing, I didn't think it would be that powerful." The woman said, making Dinah's eyes sparkle, as her man's power is so strong, on top of being able to heal life-threatening wounds.

"We will move on to the next part. Black Canary has told me that your physical abilities are around twice those of average human males. So I will have you fight a robot that is around that. We will keep going until you reach your limits and can't go on. The number will double each round." She explained, and I nodded as a door opened and a human-sized robot walked out.

Forming my ice blade and coating it with icicles, I swung it as the robot charged, making the icicles impale the robot as it fell to the ground. Two more walked out as I rushed towards them, sliding and tripping one before swinging the blade at the leg of the other and cutting it off before stomping on the other, freezing it solid.

This went on for the next ten minutes until I was panting and about a hundred robots had fallen. It would have been different if they had ranged attacks or weapons, but this was about my ability to fight and how long I could fight as the woman smiled and spoke. "Well, your fighting style is rough around the edges and a little too lethal, but we can train that. You are around Mid C-Rank in fighting ability, with an Upper A-rank power. Let's see how your healing power is. Do you need time to rest?" She asked, nodding yes.

"That's impressive, Chad. I have Upper A-rank fighting ability, with only a mid B-rank power." Dinah said, handing me a towel as I smiled and spoke. "Powers are all fine, but I suck at fighting. I could only last this long because of my powers. I need to train on how to fight." I said, looking at her. "I can teach you." She said with a blush on her face.

"I will take you up on that offer, my little Black Canary," I said, making her nod with a smile on her face as I rested until my Energy got back. "Please, follow me." The woman said as I walked behind her, stealing glances at her ass as we entered the hospital ward. "Please pick someone and heal them; they have all offered to be here for treatment." She said as I looked around and noticed a young girl with burns on her body.

I walked over to her and smiled at her. "How are you doing?" I asked, but she just turned her head my way and looked at me with empty eyes, making me feel bad for her. I leaned down and placed my hands on hers, and I kissed her forehead, and a glowing white light started to shine inside the room. It went on for close to forty seconds until it stopped, and I needed to take a seat as the girl opened her eyes and looked at me as I spoke.

"Why don't you take a look at your hands?" I said as she looked down and froze, her eyes starting to water. She reached up and touched her face, then jumped out of the bed and hugged me. "THANK YOU SO MUCH, MISTER!" She screamed, crying into my chest as I rubbed her back.

"So you can heal wounds as old as these without any side effects." The woman looked at me with an amazed look and smiled. "This may be close to an S-Rank power. We will have to do more tests another time. As we don't have someone who was injured to that extent here." She said.

"For now, both of your Powers will be labeled Upper A-Rank, and your Mid C-Rank fighting ability will be logged. We will contact Black Canary for further testing of your Healing powers or any other powers you may get." She said, bowing to me as she walked away.

"Mister, what's your name?" The little girl asked me as I smiled. "You can call me Sub-Zero or Chad," I whispered into her ear, making her laugh and nod as I placed her back on the bed. A woman ran in and hugged the girl, crying as I left, letting them enjoy their time together.

"Shall we head home?" I said to Dinah, and she nodded with a smile.
