Chapter 11 - Four dead.

Barbara and I got dressed and cleaned up before they finished getting ready for their night out, as I was getting something to drink. Vixen walked into the kitchen and smiled. "What are you doing, Chad?" She said as I smiled.

"Just getting something to drink before lying down, Vixen," I said, making her walk towards me in her tight dress as she leaned forward and whispered into my ear. "I have an excellent ear and a killer nose. Next time, you and Barbara should find a better spot." She said before kissing my cheek and walking away.

Well, damn. That is my error, but it doesn't look like she really cares about me being underage, so I don't need to worry. Walking to my room and lying down as I opened the system.

(Host healed a child with a horrible wound, earning him 30 Good acts skill points and $3,000. Host has cheated on his girlfriend, earning him 25 Evil acts skill points and 25 stat points.)

I had earned a total of $18,700 in cash, plus I now had 90 Good acts skill points. And I was sitting on 76 Evil acts skill points. I put the 25 skill points into Spirit, making it 75 now, giving me 750 Ability Energy. I felt a lot better about my energy levels. After tonight, I won't focus on them as hard anymore. After all, getting 200 stat points from killing the four robbers will give me almost four times the energy.

As I finished my drink and looked at the names of the four waiting for all of them to fall asleep, it took two hours, and I smiled. Pick the first name on the list. Feeling my mind leave once more as I entered the man's dream and changed it to a boiler room to pay my respect to the one I got it from.

The sudden change freaked him out as I made a glove with four blades and a mask as I watched him from the shadows. This way, if anyone could see what happened to him, they wouldn't see my face. Stepping out of the shadows, I dragged the blades against the wall, making sparks as he looked over. "Who the fuck are you?" He yelled out as I gave a manic laugh without saying anything.

This freaked him out and he took off running down a hall as I teleported to the first turn down the hall as he turned the corner I slashed his face blinding him as he screamed out in pain before I slammed him against some metal pipes making him cough up bleed as I finished him off with stabbing him in the gut and slicing him open. He dropped down to the ground before dying. "Well, that was easier than I thought," I said to myself before moving on to the next dreamworld.

Showing up in a forest at a campsite with a man, a woman, and a child made me smirk. "So he is a family man, well, he shouldn't have robbed. Now that I need him to die, I can't just back out now." I muttered to myself as I slowly made the world night and made the woman and child when he turned his back.

"Honey? Zoey? Where are you?" The man said as he stood up, and I started to walk out of the forest, stepping on a branch, making him swing around. "Who are you?" He said as I pulled out a hatchet and threw it at him, hitting him in the forehead, killing him.

"How do I not feel bad about killing?" I said to myself. The only thing I can think of is that it has to do with either the skill or the system, making me sigh. "Well, let's get this done so I don't dwell on it for now," I said, teleporting to the next dreamworld, seeing the guy swimming in a pool as I turn myself into water.

I fell into a puddle and moved towards the pool and flowed into it. Making my way to him, I pulled him under as he struggled in the water. But couldn't overpower me as I slowly drowned him in the pool he dreamed of.

The next dreamworld was a classroom with a man sitting on a chair wearing a dunce cap. What a strange dream, but I don't judge as the man cried on the chair. There was one of those paper cutting things with that curved blade. I have no idea what it was called, but I ripped the blade off, scaring the guy as he looked up.

I swung the blade down, embedding it into his skull as he looked at me in shock, as it happened so fast. Pulling the blade out of his head, he fell over onto the ground as I threw the blade down and left the dreamworld. Opening my eyes, I sat up looking out the window.

"I need to keep that in check, not feeling anything could get me into trouble if I get carried away with that. I need a balance and can't let the Evil get in the way of the Good." I sighed as I stood up and left the room, as I was getting hungry and needed to do something. I didn't want to dwell on it anymore.

As I walked out, I noticed Cassandra sitting on the sofa watching a cartoon. She looked at me and nodded as I smiled. "I was told you couldn't talk, but I wanted to ask how your day was?" I said, lying of course, as I knew she couldn't talk from the comics, as she gave me the okay sign, and I nodded, walking towards the kitchen.

Making a bowl of cereal and sat next to her as I eat it, watching the cartoon as she moved closer, sitting next to me, before leaning her head on my shoulder, watching the TV. This took me by surprise as I didn't do anything with her yet, but she was willing to lean on me like this. Maybe she sees me as someone her age compared to the other members.

I kept eating when Vixen and Harley ran in as I looked over to them. They looked worried as I spoke up. "What happened?" I said as Vixen replied. "Black Canary sent out a distress call, and then it went out." She said, making me put the bowl down and stand up. "Let me go along. If she is injured, it's best I be there sooner. And I can fight at a Mid C-Rank while I have an Upper A-Rank Ice power also." I said, making the women shocked that I could use Ice powers, as I don't give off that vibe.

"Take him with you, he needs the experience, and I watched his video from the Training Hall. He can be used to the three of you." Barbara said, leaving her control room. "Can I get a half mask? That way to hide my face from the bad guys." I said, making Barbara nod, and walked over to a drawer, pulling a mask out.

"Okay, Barbara. We will suit up and head out." Vixen said as the three women ran off to their room, and I spoke to Barbara. "What mission was she on?" I said, making her look at me. "She was tracking down the Pengiun when she sent the signal." She said, making me nod. Pengiun isn't that much of a villain and someone I wouldn't have a problem with, but why did Dinah? That was the question.
