By the time we pulled up to the gym, Dinah needed to clean the inside of her car. Making me smirk as I spoke. "I told you to swallow it," I said jokingly, making her roll her eyes before speaking. "I was driving, how could I have done that?" She said.
"Sounds like a skill issue to me," I said, making her punch my arm as I laughed, before she pulled me closer by the shirt and kissed me. "I will make you pay for that later, Chad." She said as we pulled apart, and she squeezed my ass. "I am not letting you sleep tonight." Her eyes shone with thirst at her words, making me gulp.
"Very well, my dear Dinah," I whispered into her ear, making her smile as she spoke. "You go inside, I will clean up your mess." She said, licking her lips, making me want to laugh, as I nodded and walked away towards the gym. As I entered, I noticed three women that any comic book reader would know.
Cassandra Cain, I don't know if she is Batgirl right now, but I am betting she is. As for the other two, Vixen and Huntress. Well, if it isn't a female superhero buffet, as I chuckled inside my head, now having met more women who don't live at the place, at least for now. As I hadn't seen them, I don't know if they are doing their own thing.
I walked over to the front desk and spoke to the guy. "Yes, I want to get a membership here," I said, making the three women look over from the side as they heard me making the guy look up and speak. "This gym isn't a normal gym; only those with special abilities can get a membership here. Planet Fitness is down the road." He said, looking away as I smiled.
The three women chuckled as I started to back up and move my hands, forming a short sword of ice before covering it with icicles and swinging it at him, making them fly off as he ducked, and they stuck into the wall. "I think I have special abilities, but if you need a second opinion, you can ask Black Canary once she comes in," I said.
He raised his head from below the desk as the door opened and Black Canary walked in. "What's going on here, Chad?" She said, making me shrug. "He said I couldn't use the gym unless I had special abilities, so I showed him my special ability," I said with a smirk, making her roll her eyes.
"Dinah, how are you doing?" Vixen said, walking over with the other two, who were intrigued by me. "Oh, Vixen, you are here. This is Chad, he will be staying with us for a while until he finds out what he wants to do. He saved me last night and also healed Barbara." She said, shocking the other two as they looked at me and nodded.
She came over and put her arm over my shoulder, giving me a headlock, pushing my cheek into the side of her tits. "Thanks for saving my friend and also healing the other one. If you ever need help, let me know," Vixen said before letting me go. "We are about to head out. You two enjoy your workout," Vixen said as the others followed her out.
The workout was pretty simple; she wanted to test my limits and found me to be twice as strong as the average human, along with speed and stamina, making her smile. "You didn't have this much stamina last night. I guess you weren't in top shape." She said as we left the gym, making her smile at how much fun we are going to have tonight, making me sigh.
I may have made a monster, but a beast I don't really mind being killed by. Smiling as I thought that, she hugged my arm as we walked towards her car, planning on going to the mall. "No funny stuff, in the car for now. I don't want to have to clean up again." She said, and I nodded, and we got inside.
It didn't take us too long to get to the mall. Dinah smiled. "Pick out what you want. I need to help you out." She said, making me nod as I wasn't going to look the gift horse in the mouth as we entered the mall and started to try on clothes. Of course, I let her pick out some she liked until she got a call. "Chad, I got a call. Let me go take this." She said with a serious look on her face as I nodded, standing in the food court.
I stood there with the bags as I watched people moving around, you know what. Gotham, in the comics, looked so bad, but it really isn't that bad during the day. It's gloomy as hell at night, but it's like any other normal city when the light is out, as I wanted college girls to walk by until I heard gunshots. "Everyone on the GROUND!" A man yelled as I saw five men with rifles firing into the air.
"Well, insert foot in mouth," I muttered as I squatted behind a small wall, making a game plan inside my head as I noticed the four college girls hiding near a table, scared as I spoke. "It's going to be alright, ladies, I won't let anything happen to you," I said while making the ice sword once more, and put the icicles on it.
Looking over the wall, noticing that a goon stepped on a chair with a foot on the table, shooting his gun into the air as it went empty. I rushed out using Sub-Zero's sliding attack, kicking the chair out from under him and making him lose balance and face-plant onto the floor as I swung my sword at two guys standing next to each other, impaling their legs and arms.
The last two guys pointed their guns at me, making an Ice Clone as I rolled back behind a pillar, and they started to light the pillar up. The moment I heard their rifles lock back to the rear, I had already covered the sword once more, sprinting out from around the pillar, sliding on ice as I swung the sword at one before he could finish reloading, hitting his arms, making him drop the gun.
I wasn't going to make it close to the guy, so I used his Polar Blast move, using the remainder of my power to freeze the air, stopping the bullets as the gust of ice power slowly covered him in ice. Good thing I was able to funnel it towards him without getting anyone hurt as I panted on the ground. My heart was beating as the sound of the bad guys screamed out in pain, not that it bothered me, as they had it coming to them.
"Chad, are you okay?" Dinah said running in after hearing the gunshots, making me nod. "Just tired, that's all. Give me a moment to rest. Can you check on the people to see if anyone was hurt? I can heal them in a little bit if it's not too severe. You don't have to worry about the bad guys; they won't bleed out.
I sat in a chair, resting to recover my energy after a few minutes. Dinah brought two people who had been butt-stuck by the goons, and I healed them, nothing too much, as I stood up, and Dinah hugged me. "I was worried that something may have happened to you." She said, making me feel happy that someone cared about me for the first time other than Ms. Wilson.
"Thank you, Black Canary. For worrying about me." I said with a smile of pure happiness, making her blush and rub my cheek.
