EXT. GLACIAL CAVERN — NIGHT
The air is so cold it burns.
Miles below the surface, the cavern walls glisten with jagged black ice that swallows torchlight whole. A single structure dominates the hollow — an obsidian seal, wider than a city plaza, etched with hundreds of runes that glow like dying embers.
The Shadow King stands before it, robe trailing across the frost like flowing ink. His crown of jagged bone glints in the sickly blue light, and his staff hums with power that warps the air.
One by one, the runes begin to shatter.
Each breaks with a sharp, crystalline scream — followed by a pulse of black frost that rolls across the chamber like a living thing.
Somewhere in the void beyond the seal, something stirs.
It's not a growl. Not a roar. It's… a hum — so deep it rattles teeth, so alien it doesn't belong to any mortal throat.
The Shadow King's lip curls into a smile.
SHADOW KING
"Wake… and send forth your first herald."
Act 1 — Warning From the Enemy
EXT. HUNTER CAMP — MORNING
The camp wakes to the muted crunch of snow under boots, the crackle of campfires, and the quiet hum of sharpening stones.
Xavier sits on an overturned crate, honing the edge of his blade until it gleams in the winter sun. His breath fogs in the air. Every scrape of metal against whetstone steadies his heartbeat — until a thunk interrupts him.
A throwing knife quivers in the snow beside his foot.
There's a note tied to its hilt.
He pulls it free and recognizes the handwriting instantly.
Cloaked Hunter's message:
"Citadel below the ice. He's calling it. If the first servant wakes, your continent dies first."
Before Xavier can even curse, Kai barrels into view, nearly slipping on the ice.
KAI
"Recon just spotted… something. Climbing. Out of the ice."
Act 2 — First Servant Appears
EXT. GLACIAL PLAINS — DAY
The world itself seems to groan. The ground heaves like the sea. From a jagged chasm miles across, a colossal figure rises.
It's humanoid, but wrong.
Its body is black ice threaded with molten veins that pulse like a heartbeat. Six arms stretch outward, each gripping a different ancient weapon — a spear of star metal, a sword that drips molten rock, a warhammer carved from a Titan's skull.
The HUD flickers before Xavier's eyes:
Threat Level: 95 — Class: World-Eater's Herald
A chorus of Hunter war horns blares. Dozens of magic cannons fire at once, hurling fire, lightning, and shrapnel.
The Servant doesn't even flinch. Each blast sinks into its molten veins, vanishing as if swallowed. The veins burn brighter.
KAI
(eyes wide)
"It's feeding off our attacks!"
The Herald moves with terrifying speed, each swing of its weapons sending shockwaves that flatten entire platoons.
Act 3 — The Fight That Shouldn't Be Possible
Xavier ignites Hunter's Duality, his blade splitting into two mirrored forms.
He charges for the creature's knees, aiming for glowing core nodes embedded in the joints.
The first strike barely pierces — it's like trying to cut a glacier reinforced with steel.
A molten-blade sweeps toward him from the left. He deflects, only to dodge a warhammer swing from above.
Then, a streak of shadow cuts through the chaos.
The Cloaked Hunter slams into the Herald's side, his scythe screaming through the air — severing one of its six arms in a single, flawless motion.
CLOAKED HUNTER
"We're not allies. But if you die here, the First Hunt fails before it even starts."
They fight in sync, not trusting each other — but trusting the rhythm of survival. Xavier carves at the limb cores, forcing the Herald's movements into predictable patterns, while the Cloaked Hunter cripples weapon arms one by one.
Even together, the Herald refuses to fall.
Act 4 — The Overcharge
The Servant suddenly pivots, stabbing one molten blade through the Cloaked Hunter's side.
It's not fatal — but the impact drives him to one knee, blood steaming in the cold.
Something in Xavier snaps.
Limit Break Overdrive ignites — but he doesn't stop there.
He layers every ultimate technique he has:
• Apex Hunter Mode — muscles coil, senses sharpen, every nerve alight.
• Volt Breaker Overdrive — lightning arcs from his skin, splitting the clouds above.
• Arc Storm Cleave — his blade swells with golden-white fury, the air screaming as it cuts.
The energies spiral together into a storm vortex around him, a cyclone of light and thunder that tears the air apart.
Xavier rockets forward — a human meteor — and drives straight through the Servant's chest core.
The impact triggers a detonation so bright it blinds the field, the sound like mountains collapsing.
The Herald comes apart in a rain of molten shards, each piece hissing as it vanishes into steam.
Act 5 — Aftermath
HUD:
LEVEL UP! 55 → 60
NEW ABILITY: Eater's Bane — Greatly increased damage to World-Eater entities; resistance to their corruption aura.
Xavier stumbles from the blast, chest heaving, frost clinging to his armor.
The Cloaked Hunter is already on his feet — barely — limping toward the white horizon.
XAVIER
"You can't fight this alone."
CLOAKED HUNTER
(not looking back)
"Neither can you."
Then he's gone, swallowed by the snowstorm.
Ending Cliffhanger
INT. SHADOW KING'S THRONE ROOM — NIGHT
The half-broken seal glows in the darkness, ice splintering further with each passing second.
In the black frost beyond, more shapes shift — not one… but four more Servants. Each larger. Each deadlier.
The Shadow King rests both hands on his staff, the echo of the hum from before growing louder.
SHADOW KING
"One down. Four to go.
And then… the Eater walks."
FADE OUT.
