As for Steel Body, Super Strength, Super Speed, and Heat Vision, there's no need to mention those either.
These were precisely Clark's current abilities.
And for all these years, Clark had been carefully concealing these abilities; he believed he had done so flawlessly.
Of course,
Because Clark often "helped those in need," he had indeed exposed his abilities in several instances, especially his Super Strength.
But one thing was undeniable: his abilities had never been so comprehensively understood by anyone!
After all, Clark's cheat was just too overpowered.
With his abilities, he could resolve all sorts of disasters in an instant.
Often, the problem would be solved before the people involved even knew what had happened.
Even in situations where he had to reveal himself, almost no one ever saw Clark's face, so his identity remained a secret.
Not to mention such comprehensive information.
And most importantly, Clark's Heat Vision had only awakened recently!
He had never used it in front of anyone!
This further suggested that the owner of the diary, Zhou Cheng, really did possess the ability to know the future.
Although Clark wasn't entirely convinced yet, his attitude towards the diary had subtly changed.
He began to take it more seriously.
With this newfound seriousness, Clark continued to read the diary, his brow immediately furrowing.
Kryptonians... extinct?
How could this be?
Clark had just learned where he came from, where his home was.
And now, just like that, he found out his home was gone!
Extinct!
Was this some kind of joke?
So, what exactly happened on Krypton? Why were the Kryptonians extinct?
Could it be that because of Krypton's destruction, he was sent to Earth?
A whole string of questions flashed through Clark's mind in an instant.
But, unfortunately…
The diary's spoilers were simply too limited, and Clark couldn't possibly arrive at a definitive conclusion.
[Of course, not every Kryptonian is as powerful as Clark, after all, Krypton's sun is different from Earth's sun.] [It's the sun on Earth that made Clark the unique Superman, the most powerful Kryptonian.]
[Even so, Kryptonians were still a cheat-level race in the interstellar context.]
[Just look at General Zod; with only a few people, he made the whole Earth helpless!]
[If Clark hadn't stepped forward, humanity would have been wiped out!]
[After all, humans can't survive in the Kryptonian environment.]
The sun?
Clark's brow couldn't help but raise.
He hadn't expected the sun, which appeared every day and was completely ignored by everyone, including himself, to be the key to his strength.
No wonder he always felt very comfortable whenever he walked in the sunlight, basking in its rays.
Especially before, Clark could clearly feel that his strength was constantly increasing every day, and his body was also becoming tougher.
Clark didn't think too much about it, and thought it was just him growing up.
Like anyone else, as one gets older, they become stronger and more robust.
Clark really didn't expect that all of this was actually related to the sun.
Not only that, the diary also mentioned a key term, Krypton sun.
The sun here refers to the fact that Krypton is in the solar system, and like Earth, shares a sun.
But because of the different positions, the feeling is different.
Or, is Krypton sun just a symbolic term, referring to Krypton's own star?
Clark pondered for a moment, but couldn't figure it out, so he turned his attention back to the diary.
His brow furrowed slightly.
What exactly did General Zod want when he came to Earth?
To wipe out all of humanity? Why would he do that! Was it like in some sci-fi movies, where General Zod planned to conquer Earth?
However, for General Zod to come and occupy a planet where his "comrades" were "in hiding," wasn't this a bit too coincidental?
Clark seriously suspected that General Zod had come for him! That he came for him, a Kryptonian.
As for General Zod's purpose in finding him, Clark naturally had no idea.
But, could it be that eliminating all of humanity was just a side effect? Or was there some other purpose? However, what did it mean by "Kryptonian environment, humans cannot survive"? Judging from the diary, it was clear that General Zod's method of eliminating all of humanity was a "Kryptonian environment."
The other side is using a "Krypton environment" to eliminate everyone on Earth.
But how could there be a Krypton environment on Earth?
It couldn't be that General Zod used some kind of portal.
And transported all the people on Earth to the extinct Krypton, right?
That would be even more ridiculous!
Clark was momentarily confused about what exactly was going on, and he couldn't grasp the core of the problem.
[But General Zod is really miserable. Not only was he killed by Clark, but even his corpse was made into a weapon after his death.]
[It was made into a super monster that's considered a cheat even in the interstellar.]
[Doomsday, who not only has power no weaker than Superman's, but is also unkillable and can evolve infinitely!]
[It makes your scalp tingle just thinking about it.]
[This is a being even Darkseid couldn't handle!]
[Even nuclear bombs can't kill it, and in fact, make it even stronger!]
[If Superman hadn't sacrificed his own life at a critical moment, nobody on Earth would have been able to kill it, right?]
"No, I won't do that."
Clark instinctively shook his head. Being inherently kind, how could he possibly kill someone?
Even though he knew from the diary what General Zod was going to do.
But Clark's thoughts from beginning to end were only to stop him, nothing more.
He never once considered killing him.
The word "mercy" was never in Clark's genes.
However, considering General Zod, he would bring an incredibly dangerous alien invasion to Earth.
What exactly would happen on the battlefield then was hard to say.
Even if the other side really died in the fires of war, it wouldn't be a strange thing, right? This also showed how cruel that battle was.
But General Zod's body being made into a super weapon or something, Clark really hadn't thought of that.
Doomsday?
This name did indeed sound like a formidable existence.
And what about the other side's strength?
Good heavens!
Even more awesome!
It was fine that it had the same strength as himself, but it couldn't be killed?
Even just that was perverted to the point of making people's hair stand on end.
As a result, it wasn't over yet, and it could evolve infinitely?
What a freak!
If this description alone wasn't enough to understand how powerful Doomsday is, then the diary provided a vivid, concrete example.
Unable to be killed by a nuclear bomb!
Are you kidding me?
A nuclear bomb!
That's the most powerful weapon on Earth.
One nuclear bomb is enough to destroy an entire city!
Clark wondered if he could even withstand such a terrifying weapon.
And the result?
Not only can a nuclear bomb not kill Doomsday, but it can also make him evolve and become stronger!
Does something this freakishly powerful even exist in the world?
Just thinking about it makes your hair stand on end.
This freak could even… Darkseid…
Wait a minute, who is Darkseid?
Clark had a question mark appear on his forehead. He had never heard of that name before.
But judging from the diary's tone, this Darkseid seemed to be a very, very powerful figure.
To not be defeated by someone like Darkseid seemed to be quite remarkable!
So, are there still strong individuals of this level on Earth?
Clark really didn't know!
Clark silently remembered the name.
He planned to look into it later, to see if he could find out who this big shot was.
But for now, the diary was still the main focus.
Clark continued to look at the diary, and his expression instantly froze.
Dead?
His future self… was dead!
He died at the hands of that monster called Doomsday?
Was that monster truly unbeatable?
Even so, Clark's gaze quickly became resolute.
If such a powerful monster really appeared on Earth in the future...
He would still step forward without hesitation to save everyone.
If even he couldn't handle that monster, what a disaster it would be for the others?
Clark couldn't just stand by and watch.
The only consolation was that the diary made it clear.
This is something that wouldn't happen until after General Zod came to Earth.
Even if all of this was real, Clark would still have enough time to prepare in advance.
But there's one thing.
Who exactly used General Zod's corpse to create such a terrifying monster? What is the other party's goal? [So, Lex Luthor is still amazing!]
[He's just an ordinary person, yet he can manipulate Superman and Batman.]
[He provoked a great battle between Batman and Superman.]
[If Lois Lane hadn't arrived in time, Superman would probably have been killed by Batman.]
[Even if he missed this opportunity, he could still create Doomsday, and ultimately kill Superman.]
[This is truly a mortal, taking down a god on Earth!]
[I wonder if Clark has met Lois yet?]
[She's probably the most important woman in his life, right?]
"Lex?"
Clark was incredibly surprised.
He certainly hadn't heard the name Lex before.
But that didn't matter. Clark immediately recognized Lex's surname.
LexCorp, one of the world's top super-corporations.
Even if it couldn't compare to Gotham's Wayne Enterprises, it was still a behemoth that ordinary people looked up to.
Clark naturally knew this.
That's why Clark was so confused and puzzled.
Given his status and position, he and LexCorp were worlds apart.
The difference was so vast that they would hardly ever interact.
Why would Lex Luthor want to go against him? Even going so far as to plan multiple actions, instigating a great battle between himself and Batman, and creating the monster Doomsday?
Was his killing intent really that strong?
What exactly would he do in the future to offend Lex Luthor so badly? Well, let's put that question aside for now. After all, the diary didn't reveal any clues, and even if Clark racked his brains, he wouldn't be able to figure it out.
But judging from the diary's revelations, Lex Luthor's provocation had actually succeeded!
He and Batman had really engaged in a huge battle!
Putting aside everything else, this alone was enough to shock and concern Clark.
Who was he, after all?
A cheater!
His Super Hearing could hear everything, and his Super Vision combined with X-Ray Vision could see through any trap.
His Super Brain also kept his IQ consistently high.
Under these circumstances, it wasn't easy for ordinary people to ensnare him.
Let alone someone like Batman.
That person, with a mere mortal body, could suppress all the criminals in Gotham, becoming the city's Dark Knight. How could he be a simple person?
The fact that he and Batman, both such figures, had fallen for the trap showed just how formidable this Lex Luthor was.
Besides, Batman almost killed him?
This once again surprised and shocked Clark.
It's not that Clark was arrogant, but he knew how freakishly strong his body was.
In the world today, aside from nuclear weapons, were there really any weapons that could kill him?
Even nuclear weapons only had the possibility of killing him!
It wasn't absolute!
In this situation, he was almost killed by Batman?
It seemed that Batman was really not simple. He had underestimated him before.
"Lois Lane?"
And then, this name caught Clark's attention.
After all, the diary made it clear that this was the most important woman in his life.
Without a doubt, this meant she was his future girlfriend, right?
Maybe even his future wife.
This made Clark a little shy. He was still a single dog, wasn't he?
Since breaking up with Lana in high school, Clark's romantic life had been empty for years.
He hadn't even considered starting a relationship.
Regardless, he was different from other people.
If he started a relationship, Clark could no longer hide himself from the other person.
That would mean exposing all his secrets to her.
Clark wasn't ready for that yet.
But even so, it didn't stop Clark's thoughts from taking flight.
He couldn't help but start letting his mind wander.
What kind of person was this Lois Lane?
Where did she work? How tall was she, and what was her personality like? And so on, and so forth.
He was still very curious.
