Asgard.
Asgard's central square, which governed the Nine Realms, had a stunning view of blue skies, green mountains, and winding rivers. It was the perfect blend of ultimate luxury and natural beauty, unique to the realm of gods.
Odin, the King of Asgard, stood at the edge of the square, wearing exquisite robes and gazing into the distance. A golden eye patch covered his right eye, giving him a majestic and solemn appearance.
Heavy footsteps sounded behind him.
"Father, Heimdall has detected an unusually strong power fluctuation in Midgard, and there are traces of demons. I request to go to Midgard to investigate."
"I am willing to go, Father."
Loud, deep, and masculine voices reached Odin's ears. He turned around, then resumed admiring the scenery. "Let Heimdall continue to monitor the anomaly in Midgard. No investigation is necessary."
"Father?"
"Are you questioning your king?"
"We will follow your command."
The footsteps behind him faded away. Odin's single eye flashed with a profound light. "The trajectory of history has shifted, and the future is clouded. Midgard..."
Odin thought of a dream he had not long ago. In it, he saw one brilliant star after another—boys and girls in sacred armor, using their fearless will and strength to fight against a certain threat.
"Good or bad, Sorcerer Supreme, what will you choose?" Odin sighed thoughtfully.
Hell was a world burning with hellfire, teeming with powerful and evil demon lords and countless demons. "Hell" was a general term; each demon lord came from a different plane, but each plane was contained within the vast hell dimension.
One plane, the most powerful of all, was the kingdom of the demon lord Mephisto, who bore the name of Satan.
Deep within this plane was an ancient castle. On the central throne, Mephisto, who had blood-red skin, a gray cloak, and a long, sharp demonic tail, seemed to be sleeping. This was Mephisto's true form.
Suddenly, Mephisto's eyes snapped open, but then he immediately closed them again. A low, raspy demonic language rippled through the castle.
"An unknown and powerful warrior... This is very interesting."
In the small town of Sedona, residents emerged from their homes and gathered in the streets to talk. The focus of their discussion was the strange events that had just occurred: the unexplainable astronomical phenomenon, the beautiful Aquarius constellation in the dark clouds, the golden pillar of light that suddenly pierced the sky, the violent tremors, the roar of explosions, the fierce shockwaves, and the sudden drop in temperature. All these things left the residents feeling uneasy.
"Believe me, it must have been a demon that appeared. God sent an angelic warrior to come down, and they had a battle in the mountains that defeated the demon," a high school student confidently told his classmates.
"Maybe it's aliens? Like in the movies. Do we need to leave town quickly?" A father with a wife and two children expressed his worries to his neighbors.
"It must be a warrior chosen by the gods who has appeared to save the world."
"Don't be ridiculous. There have never been gods or demons in this world."
"Aren't those mutants demons? They have evil powers, especially that guy named Magneto, the most wanted criminal."
"Uh, that's not the same thing."
The town's residents chattered excitedly, prayed, or worried. But no one noticed a group of people dressed differently enter the town and listen intently to their discussions. The residents seemed to not even see these uninvited guests.
"It seems normal here," a young female magician said, looking around and finding nothing out of the ordinary.
Another magician nodded. "It's just an ordinary town. I believe the other town is where the trouble is."
"The guardian magician of the New York Sanctum has detected a strange situation in a town called Sip. There might be invaders at work there," another said.
The other magicians agreed. Had they not detected the anomaly here, they would have been on their way to investigate that other town, their duty being to expel or eliminate invaders from other dimensions, a responsibility they had fulfilled for thousands of years.
The leader, Kaecilius, was frowning, his eyes filled with doubt. While the others felt nothing, he couldn't shake the inexplicable sense of unease that had settled in his heart upon entering the town. It was an indescribable feeling, as if his body or senses were warning him.
After a moment's thought, Kaecilius decided not to take any risks. As a magician who had trained for five years, he had outstanding abilities and stood out among his peers. He was confident in his magical skills, but the scenes in the mountains and the destructive aura he had perceived there had drenched him in cold reality. He knew that either of the two beings involved could easily crush him. Kaecilius valued himself greatly, and more importantly, he cherished his life. He wanted to pursue deeper power to achieve his desires, and until then, he didn't want to die.
"Let's go. We need to report this matter to the Sorcerer Supreme," he said. This was beyond his control. Kaecilius opened a magic portal and left with the other magicians.
At the moment he and the other magicians disappeared, the surrounding residents still didn't notice. But Leon did.
Back at home, Leon was comforting his parents, while the two children, with stars in their eyes, reached out their small hands, trying to touch the golden armor. He had noticed Kaecilius and the group of magicians the moment they appeared in town. They seemed to have used a specific magical method to separate themselves from reality, making them invisible to ordinary people.
But this couldn't hide them from Leon. An awakened Sixth Sense Saint was a powerful, well-rounded warrior, possessing immense strength, speed, endurance, defense, and willpower. He was able to perceive the uninvited guests from the space isolated from reality, even from a distance, and he kept a close watch on them. When he sensed them suddenly disappear with a strange energy fluctuation, he was certain they were the magicians who protected Earth.
Leon had no intention of having too much contact with this group. This universe had a specific, sacred timeline, and its history was fixed. In the future, the so-called superheroes would protect the world in various ways and travel through time, but they were all part of that sacred timeline. Established history could not be changed.
But Leon's appearance had broken that history. His existence would inevitably lead to a disruption of the sacred timeline. The Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One, and Odin, the God-King, who both possessed the Time Stone and could see the flow of fate, would surely detect this.
"What would you do?"
