"Let me understand this correctly," Collins said, her voice deliberately measured. "You want us to pretend you're dead at a staged funeral to trap Uncle March into confessing to murder."
"That's precisely the plan," Miranda confirmed, curled against Nolan on his leather couch. The painkillers were finally dulling the throbbing in her head, but not her determination.
