*Chapter 22: The Land of God*
Five years had passed since the unification of the North and South. The Land of God had expanded to three times its original size. With prosperity came power—its people grew stronger, its defenses tighter, and its name feared across the entire continent. Even Nil and two other disciples had reached the rank of Vice General. Three new guilds were established, forming a powerful network of warriors and mages alike.
On a grand day, Daimon called for a meeting with the entire city. The central square overflowed with cheering citizens, celebrating their king. Daimon entered with Nil on his right and Lucy—now eleven and known by all as Princess Lucy—on his left.
As the voices quieted, Daimon stood before his people and declared a shocking truth: he would be leaving on an important quest. A murmur spread like wildfire, but none dared challenge him—they trusted him.
After the meeting, Daimon returned to his chamber with Nil.
"I'm going to search for the second seal," he said calmly. "Back in the Battle of the South, when I unleashed my true aura, I sensed something… a power similar to mine, deep in the Third Quarter."
Nil's expression hardened. "That place is dangerous. Be careful, Master."
Daimon nodded. "While I'm gone, you're in charge. And I'm going alone."
Moments later, Lucy ran into the room. She hugged Daimon tightly, her voice small but emotional. "Don't be late, Uncle… you know I miss you, right?"
Daimon patted her head gently. "I'll miss you too… but this is something I must do—for all of us."
Nil paused, looking at him curiously. "What do you think the second seal is?"
Daimon turned, eyes cold with a knowing smirk.
"It's Adrien… the one who betrayed me."
