…He had already walked up to the symbiote giant.
The giant let out a furious roar, and a massive black fist slammed down at Saitama's head like a sledgehammer. The wind pressure kicked up dust from the ground.
Saitama expressionlessly raised a hand and precisely caught that black fist—one even bigger than his entire body. The impact seemed to vanish the moment it reached him, not even lifting the corner of his clothes.
Then, still holding the fist, he lightly twisted in the opposite direction.
An utterly irresistible, horrifying brute force instantly acted on the symbiote giant. With a grating "rriiip" that made people's teeth ache, that immensely tough, symbiote-made arm was torn straight off the main body by pure strength!
But it wasn't over. The force kept transmitting through it. The symbiote giant's entire structure became violently unstable in an instant, letting out a pained shriek. Its enormous body was like it was being brutally kneaded apart and shredded by an invisible hand—collapsing into countless lifeless black sludge fragments that scattered across the ground. The possessed host broke free, slumping to the street and falling unconscious.
The once-noisy street fell silent for a full second.
The other symbiotes that were still rampaging seemed to sense everything that had just happened through some instinctive connection. In their simple minds, an emotion called "fear" flooded in for the first time. They stopped attacking, stiffly turned toward Saitama, then let out panicked hissing cries. Without hesitation, they abandoned their current hosts and enemies and scattered like a tide, desperately trying to burrow into any crack they could hide in.
"Ah, they ran." Saitama watched the fleeing black streams and casually slapped the air twice, like swatting flies. The shockwaves from his palms swept through the air—two slower symbiotes were instantly blasted into the finest dust and vanished completely.
Just as the remaining symbiotes were about to escape into the underground pipeline system, rings of magic halos crackling with golden sparks appeared out of nowhere, snapping around each fleeing symbiote with pinpoint accuracy.
The magic circles tightened, locking them in place so they couldn't move.
Doctor Strange, wearing his floating cloak, stepped out from a portal. He glanced at the wrecked scene and the scattered symbiote remains, then finally fixed his gaze on Saitama—his eyes full of astonishment and scrutiny…
"Looks like I came a bit late," Strange said, waving both hands as he began chanting, sealing the symbiotes trapped by magic one by one into specialized containers. "But the way you handled the problem… extremely direct and effective."
Saitama looked at him and nodded. "Oh, hi. They suddenly attacked, so I just dealt with them. If there's nothing else, I'm heading back."
With that, he carried the bag holding his water-and-electricity bill receipts and continued walking toward home, as if what just happened was nothing more than casually clearing some trash from the road.
Spider-Man helped Venom up from the ground, staring at Saitama's departing back as he muttered to himself, "Whoa… Tony-san is definitely gonna want to know who he is…"
The Arctic was now being shattered by an ancient horror.
A distress signal from a research station crossed the ice fields, filled with desperate urgency:
"Mayday! Mayday! The ice layer has cracked open! Something enormous came out! It's moving toward the supply station! We can't stop it! Request immediate support!!"
