With a crisp snap, the hydrant's base was precisely destroyed. The high-pressure water instantly burst free like an enraged water dragon, blasting straight down into the sinkhole and slamming into the sludge monster below!

The effect was immediate. The high-speed stream tore through its slick body, washing away massive amounts of filth. The creature's structure made from waste and debris shook violently as if it were about to fall apart, letting out pained sizzling sounds. Any tentacles it tried to form were scattered and shredded by the torrent.
"It works!" a deep, powerful voice called out.
Luke Cage—bulletproof skin, monstrous strength—dropped in from the other side as well. He used his solid body to brace against falling rubble at the sinkhole's edge, stopping further collapse and creating space for rescue teams and attacks.
Saitama stepped onto the gushing water like it was a slide and closed in fast. The pressure didn't seem to affect him at all. He swung again—his punching wind was so fierce it actually forced the surrounding water aside, creating a brief pocket of vacuum.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
A chain of heavy hits smashed the sludge monster into even more pieces. Mud and fragments were ripped away and swept off by the water until it finally broke down into a writhing pool of rotten sludge, still trying to pull itself back together.
"The core is still down there!" Daredevil warned again. He could hear the distinct vibration of something hard and metallic deep inside the muck. "It's in the very bottom—inside that rusted main pipe!"
Hearing that, Saitama crouched slightly, pulled his right fist back a bit—then slammed it straight down into the ground beneath the sludge!
BOOM!!!
A deep, muffled shock thundered out, and the entire street shuddered. The impact force transmitted through mud and soil, driving downward—
And in the next instant, a metal pipe buried at the deepest point—about as thick as an arm, covered in rust yet faintly glowing green—was violently "shaken" out of the earth. It shot up into the air.
Saitama raised his hand and casually threw a punch, striking the flying pipe dead-on.
CLANG!
The pipe's core shattered into countless grains of rust and metal dust. That faint green glow went out completely.
The sludge on the ground—still twitching and trying to reform—seemed to lose all vitality in an instant. It became nothing more than ordinary sewage muck and garbage, lying motionless.
Almost at the exact moment the sewer monster was dealt with, an emergency alert from the West Coast hit everyone's comms.
Deep within Redwood National and State Parks in California, a high-energy reaction had appeared. A giant stone formed by forcibly fusing massive boulders with ancient trees—was rampaging through the forest, uprooting century-old redwoods and tearing apart mountainsides on a massive scale.
"Today just keeps on giving." Tony's voice sounded tired. "Saitama… looks like you've gotta make another trip. The Quinjet will get you there as fast as possible."
"Okay." Saitama answered, and boarded the jet again.
The Quinjet cut across North America and quickly arrived above the forest. From the air, they could see a beautiful stretch of redwood woods reduced to wreckage. A stone giant over ten meters tall stomped through the trees, each step making the ground quake. It casually ripped up a huge redwood that normally took two people to hug, swinging it like a club.
A wild figure was trying to stop it—
Wolverine.
He popped his adamantium claws and charged with a roar, slashing hard across the stone body—
