Setting the Stage
The wind was crisp over the New World as Heaven's Embrace cut through the waves, wings folded, sails catching the sun.Vegito stood at the bow, tail swaying lazily, staring at the latest set of offers that had come in through the den-den mushi.
"Three kingdoms want you to visit," Bell-mère said, flipping through the list. "One's a trade proposal. One wants you as an 'honorary war hero.' And one…" She frowned. "…wants you to marry their princess."
"That last one sounds promising," Vegito said without missing a beat.
A Plan in Motion
Vegito gathered the crew on deck."We're making allies," he said simply. "The World Government's shaken, the Marines are scrambling, and the Yonko are watching. Perfect time to get a few kingdoms under our protection."
Robin tapped the map. "If we plot a course through this corridor, we can visit all three without backtracking. But it will take us close to Marine activity."
Vegito grinned. "Good. I'll wave to them."
First Stop – The Coral Throne of Laquaria
Laquaria was a glittering island city built on reefs, its buildings formed from shaped coral and crystal, glowing in the sunlight. Its ruler, Queen Nerissa, was a statuesque mermaid with emerald hair and eyes that scanned Vegito like she was reading a book.
"We've heard of your deeds," she said. "Kaido's fall. Roger's return. Your… unconventional crew."
Bell-mère muttered, "Understatement of the century."
Nerissa smiled faintly. "We want your protection. In return, Laquaria will trade you coralsteel — rare, flexible, and stronger than seastone."
Vegito leaned on the throne's armrest, smirking. "Sounds fair. But I expect dinner first. I'm a classy pirate."
Nerissa blinked, then laughed softly. "You're an unusual man, Vegito."
The Dinner Diplomacy
The feast was lavish — sea-salt roasted fish, pearl-fruit wine, and platters of shellfish the size of barrels. Vegito charmed his way through the evening, fielding political talk with one hand and feeding Carrot shrimp with the other.
By the end of the night, Laquaria had signed an alliance treaty, sealed with the Queen's personal coralsteel crest.
Second Stop – The Sky Citadel of Ventross
The island of Ventross floated on massive stone platforms, anchored by chains to the sea below. Its king, Aurelius Ventross, was a sharp-eyed man who clearly didn't like pirates — but liked the World Government even less.
"You humiliate Celestial Dragons," Aurelius said bluntly. "You've revived legends. That makes you dangerous — but useful."
Vegito shrugged. "Dangerous and useful is my brand."
Ventross offered airship schematics in exchange for protection and exclusive trade with Vegito's allies.
"Done," Vegito said without hesitation. "But I get the first test flight."
Third Stop – The Rosevale Affair
Rosevale was a lush, rose-covered island kingdom — and the source of the "marry our princess" offer. The princess, Seraphina, turned out to be a fiery redhead with an expression halfway between curiosity and challenge.
"You're not what I expected," she said, circling him like a hawk.
"I get that a lot," Vegito replied, tail curling smugly.
The "marriage" was a ceremonial alliance, meant more as a symbolic gesture than a real union — but Seraphina seemed intent on testing him. By the end of their tour, she had tried (and failed) to outdrink him, outfight him, and outwit him in negotiations.
Finally, she sighed. "I hate to admit it… but you're impressive."
"I'll take that as a yes," Vegito said with a wink.
The Marine Interception
On their way to leave Rosevale, three Vice Admiral ships moved to block Heaven's Embrace. At their head stood Vice Admiral Momonga, den-den mushi in hand.
"Vegito!" he called out. "You are ordered to surrender yourself to Marine custody!"
Vegito cupped a hand around his mouth. "Sorry, can't hear you over the sound of me not doing that!"
Momonga gritted his teeth. "This is your last warning—"
Vegito raised a single finger. A ripple of ki shot out, and the three Marine ships spun in place like toys, their anchors ripped from the sea floor.
"You were saying?" Vegito asked innocently.
The Vice Admiral wisely signaled a retreat.
Backroom Reactions
The alliance announcements spread quickly — three new kingdoms declaring loyalty to Vegito's banner, each offering resources the Marines couldn't easily touch.
Sengoku stared at the updated map. "He's building his own version of the Revolutionary Army — except with a flagship that can outfly anything we have."
The Five Elders were livid. "This isn't a crew," Topman Warcury growled. "It's a mobile empire."
Imu's voice echoed in their chamber. "Then we make it bleed."
Crew Celebrations
That night on Heaven's Embrace, the crew celebrated on the main deck, the alliance banners now hanging alongside their own.
Bell-mère poured drinks. "So, what's next? You've got three kingdoms, a growing legend, and half the world on edge."
Vegito raised his glass. "Next? We find someone even dumber than Kaido to humiliate."
Carrot's ears perked. "You mean…?"
Vegito grinned. "Big Mom's neighborhood."
