Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 & 2

[Mind Depository.]

"Damn!"

Su Xiaoqi looked at the world in front of him—which was no different from the one he used to live in—and cursed loudly.

He was completely numb now.

Originally, he was just a happy geology student focused on surface resource exploration—in plain terms, an excavator operator.

Driven by a man's dream, Su Xiaoqi, the seventh child in his family, chose to attend a well-known excavator training school right after junior high, despite his family's objections.

Over the past three years, Su Xiaoqi ranked first in both theory and practice. Combined with his slightly roguish good looks, he became the poster boy of the school.

Thanks to his outstanding performance, not only did the school waive all his tuition, they even assigned him a job right after graduation yesterday.

But on his **first day** at work, Su Xiaoqi **crashed**—both he and his excavator tumbled down a cliff dozens of meters high.

Tomorrow was supposed to be his **19th birthday**.

Just when he thought he was going to die, a mechanical voice suddenly rang in his head.

**Good news:** He had transmigrated.

**Bad news:** The system told him he was the **only human** in this world.

> "So what's the point of being in a world like this?"

>

> "Just to die here?"

>

> "Is this some kind of ultra-fast relocation to the afterlife?"

After wandering around for an hour and finding not a single person, Su Xiaoqi was completely speechless.

He was in a city—buildings were intact, malls were stocked with food, clothes, and essentials—but not a single person, not even an animal, could be found.

Everyone knows humans are social creatures. Without communication, if nothing else, **autism** was inevitable.

Even though there was clean water, food had an **expiration date**.

What would he do when the food ran out?

He'd never even killed a chicken in his life—how could he survive?

The thought made Su Xiaoqi wish he had just **died in the crash**, so at least his family could've gotten some compensation.

> "Wait... I remember the system said something about a starter pack, but I needed to say a specific activation phrase..."

> "What was the phrase?"

Su Xiaoqi tried hard to recall the system's instructions.

After a while, he remembered it had something to do with what he usually watched.

Su Xiaoqi loved anime and light novels—Chinese or Japanese, he watched them all. So he was no stranger to transmigration or system tropes.

And so he began chanting phrases:

* "Grant me your power! I am He-Man!"

* "Burn, my cosmos!"

* "I will become the Pirate King!"

* "I will become the Hokage!"

* "Coach, I want to play basketball."

* "I believe in light!"

* "Ore wa... Super Bejīta!"

Su Xiaoqi stood in the middle of the street, shouting all these catchphrases like a lunatic.

But shame? What shame?

He was the only one in this world—he could shout whatever he wanted.

After shouting for a while with no response, he took a few breaths and continued:

* "You've chosen the path of death."

* "30 years east of the river, 30 years west, don't bully the poor youth."

* "I'll crush the heavens."

...

* "Damn it!"

Tired from shouting, Su Xiaoqi drank some bottled water from the mall and cursed:

> "Don't tell me the phrase is actually… 'Which school has the best excavator training? Come to ***Xiang School***—solid skills, guaranteed quality, trusted by all!'"

**[Correct phrase detected. Congratulations, the starter pack is now activated.]**

**[Reward 1: Within one minute, shout **one** of the phrases you just said. The system will draw a random reward from that world. Time-limited.]**

"Clink."

The water bottle dropped from Su Xiaoqi's hand.

He had shouted like a fool all this time, and the correct phrase turned out to be... his **school's advertising slogan**?

No time to be stunned now—he had to choose quickly. This reward might determine his survival.

> "Ore wa... Super Bejīta!"

Su Xiaoqi shouted the **Dragon Ball** phrase.

Not just for the power level, but because of the **fighting style**—pure, physical, satisfying combat.

Like a real man driving a real excavator.

**[You selected Dragon Ball. Random reward drawn...]**

**[Congratulations! You have received: Hybrid Saiyan bloodline (Saiyan + Human). This bloodline has been successfully integrated.]**

> "Wait—I'm a Saiyan now? A *hybrid*?"

Having watched Dragon Ball countless times, Su Xiaoqi knew exactly what this meant—he had the same type of blood as **Gohan** and **Goten**. Higher talent and potential than even pure Saiyans.

Train well and he could become a **god-tier fighter**. Mess it up and he'd be a **nobody**.

Su Xiaoqi resolved to start training tomorrow. With talent like this, it'd be a waste not to.

**[Reward 2: Chat group fully loaded. Would you like to bind and create a chat room?]**

> "Holy crap, a chat group!?"

Su Xiaoqi's eyes lit up. Even the Saiyan bloodline excitement was forgotten.

With this, he wouldn't be **alone** anymore. Maybe he could invite some of his favorite female characters?

Of course, annoying ones might show up too—but still better than being alone.

> "Bind! Bind it now! Create the chatroom!"

**[Ding! Chat group successfully created.]**

**[Ding! Su Xiaoqi has joined the chat group!]**

A virtual panel, 90% similar to a QQ group chat, appeared before his eyes.

At the top was the group name and total members. The upper right showed names and avatars—currently just him, as an ordinary member.

> "Wait... shouldn't I be the admin or something?"

He muttered and sent the first message:

**[Su Xiaoqi: Who's the best at excavating? It's me, Xiaoqi, the excavator king!]**

> "Not bad. I can send messages just by thinking—pretty convenient."

He nodded in satisfaction and explored the chat group's features.

#### Main features:

* **Check-in icon**: Daily sign-in earns 1–100 points.

* **Kiwi icon**: Access to all anime (Chinese & Japanese), alphabetically sorted. 1 episode = 1 point. Monthly pass = 498 pts, yearly = 4998 pts.

* **Trade icon**: Member-to-member item trade. Seller sets price; group takes 10% fee.

* **Lottery icon**: Gacha-style draw. Items from all worlds. 500 pts per draw; singles or 10x pulls.

* **Shop icon**: Sell items to the group for points (10% fee). You can also buy items from others—no extra fee.

> "Damn, this system is greedy."

He realized: to grow stronger, he'd have to **keep pulling the gacha**. And gacha odds? Everyone knows how that goes.

**[Ding! Sign-in successful. You received 66 points.]**

> "Not bad. Wish I got another 6 though."

Now that he understood most of the functions, he had one question:

**[Su Xiaoqi: System, when will new members join the chat? Don't tell me I'll be stuck alone in here? You need more people if you want to earn more points, right?]**

**[Prompt: One invite granted at group creation. New members will be invited at random times, from random worlds, of random species. Member count is also random.]**

**[Prompt: Search function activated. Beginning random member recruitment...]**

**[Ding! Gintoki Sakata has joined the chat group!]**

**[Ding! Lu Linglong has joined the chat group!]**

**[Ding! Hanamichi Sakuragi has joined the chat group!]**

**[Ding! Zhu Zhuqing has joined the chat group!]**

**[Ding! Nami has joined the chat group!]**

"Yoho, here come two goofballs and three 'great' beauties—this is going to be fun."

Su Xiaoqi smiled as he looked at the new members joining the chat group—he knew them all, of course.

Sakata Gintoki and Sakuragi Hanamichi were absolute jokers. These two were destined to become the group's main source of laughs.

Zhu Zhuqing, a fan-favorite goddess from *Douluo Dalu*, known for her… let's just say, obvious appeal.

Nami, the beloved beauty from *One Piece*, famous for her openness.

And then there was Lu Linglong—although her screen time in *The Outcast* (*Yi Ren Zhi Xia*) was limited, her popularity was sky-high, all thanks to her sweet and adorable looks.

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: Huh? A chat group? Could this be that kind of group I've read about in novels? The type that connects different worlds?**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Bingo. It's exactly that kind of interdimensional chat group. Surprised? Shocked?**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Yay! Awesome! I finally have a cheat! I'm gonna beat the crap out of my great-grandpa!**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: ...Your grandpa is lucky to have such a wild granddaughter.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Hehe, thanks! By the way, how come no one else is talking?**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: They're probably still adjusting. Their situations are a bit different from ours—it'll take time.**

Su Xiaoqi figured the reason Lu Linglong adapted so quickly was that the system must've injected relevant info directly into her brain when she joined.

But for people from *One Piece* or *Douluo Dalu*, this kind of thing was simply too foreign.

As for Sakuragi Hanamichi, *Slam Dunk* takes place in the '90s—cellphones were a luxury item back then, and with his limited brainpower, he'd definitely need time to get used to this.

The only one Su Xiaoqi couldn't quite figure out was Sakata Gintoki. With the tech level in *Gintama*, he should've adapted fast. Could something else be going on?

---

\*\*\[Sakata Gintoki]: \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\***.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Uh...**

Now he understood why Gintoki hadn't spoken. It was a language barrier. Su Xiaoqi and Lu Linglong were using Chinese, which the others didn't understand.

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: Bird language? Don't tell me this Sakata guy is from *Little Japan*?**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Yeah, Gin-san's from over there. So are Nami and Sakuragi. Zhu Zhuqing is like us.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: You sure know a lot. But how are we gonna chat from now on? I'm not about to go learn a whole new language.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: At least you *can* learn it. I don't even have the chance.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Huh? Why not? Aren't guys usually *self-taught* when it comes to that language? 😏**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Whoa, a fellow man of culture? Should we compare notes later in private?**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Ugh, I thought your profile pic made you look decent, but you're just like every other guy.**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing]: Men are disgusting.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: ??? Zhuqing-chan, wait, can you understand us?**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing]: Not sure. But it's probably nothing good. Also—don't call me Zhuqing. We're not close.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: ...**

Su Xiaoqi smiled helplessly. As expected, Zhu Zhuqing's personality was cold and distant. Lu Linglong, on the other hand, was much easier to talk to.

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: Honestly, I don't think it's that wrong for guys to look at that stuff sometimes—as long as they're adults.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Linglong, you're so understanding. I'm 18 now—turning 19 tomorrow.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Then happy early birthday, little brother. 😏**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: ...**

---

\*\*\[Sakata Gintoki]: \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\***.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: This "Little Japan" guy, I seriously have no idea what he's saying.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: System, please fix this issue. I'll leave a 5-star review.**

**\[System Prompt]: All group members have now been granted universal language integration. Communication is now seamless.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Wait—it actually worked? Five stars, you deserve it.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Awesome! I suddenly understand everything now, just like magic.**

**\[Sakata Gintoki]: Ah, finally Gin-san can understand you guys. I was seriously suffocating just now—like holding in a massive dump that I finally got to release.**

**"Hahaha."**

Su Xiaoqi couldn't help but laugh. That tone, that analogy—it was exactly like watching *Gintama*.

He could even picture Gintoki digging his nose while saying it.

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: Your way of speaking is… quite unique.**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing]: Disgusting.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: That's just how Gin-san talks. You'll get used to it. He's actually a super funny and reliable guy.**

**\[Sakata Gintoki]: You know me well, kid. But Gin-san only likes women.**

**\[Sakata Gintoki]: Nami! You're *that* Nami from *One Piece*, right? Gin-san really likes you. I want to get in your bed and go look for One Piece together.**

**\[Lu Linglong]: *This* is your idea of funny and reliable?**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing]: Disgusting. Shameless.**

**\[Nami]: Scram.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Uh, Gin-san, can you chill a bit? You're scaring the ladies.**

**\[Sakata Gintoki]: Ahem. Sorry. I was briefly possessed by a creature called "Shinpachi." I meant to say I want to *get on Nami's ship*. Gin-san's dream is to become Pirate King!**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Shinpachi got scapegoated for no reason. I'm dying. 😂**

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: Wait—by the way Gintoki talks to Nami, do they already know each other?**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Gin-san read about her in a manga called *One Piece* in a magazine called *Weekly Shonen Jump*.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: Same for me. I know all of you because I've watched your anime or read your stories. I just checked—the streaming app with the green logo has all your shows. You should check it out sometime; it's basically like seeing your future.**

**\[Su Xiaoqi]: But one warning: the moment you make a decision that's different from the original story, your future changes entirely. Think of it as stepping onto a brand new path.**

---

**\[Lu Linglong]: No wonder you know so much about us. I can't believe I'm a character in an anime… That's a hard pill to swallow.**

**\[Sakata Gintoki]: Exactly! Just thinking about some dude watching my naked body creeps me out. Ughhh!**

**\[Lu Linglong]: Okay, that's oddly specific… but not entirely wrong.**

---

**\[Nami]: Can anyone lend me some points? I'll trade you with Berries if needed.**

In the *One Piece* world, Nami had quickly found the *One Piece* anime via the green app mentioned by Su Xiaoqi. But the shock nearly killed her—there were over 1000 episodes, and it was still ongoing!

She had just signed in and only got a bit over 30 points. She didn't know which episode had her Cocoyasi Village arc, and watching from the start would cost way too much. She wanted the 498-point monthly pass.

---

[Su Xiaoqi]: Since the chat group is new, none of us have many points. If you want to know your story's details, ask me or Gin-san—but first, tell us your current situation.

[Su Xiaoqi]: Also, not to be rude, but your world's currency—Berries—probably won't get you much here. Once you explore the group features, you'll realize how important points are.
