Approaching the Closed Country
From Heaven's Embrace, Wano looked like a painting — towering mountains crowned with clouds, waterfalls pouring into the sea, and a vast torii gate marking the harbor. The air itself seemed charged, alive with the weight of history.
"Place is gorgeous," Bell-mère said, leaning over the rail. "Shame about the tyrant running it."
Robin adjusted her glasses. "Kaido's reign has lasted too long. Wano's people deserve to see the sun again."
Vegito's tail flicked. "Then let's tear down the clouds."
Breaking Through the Blockade
Three Beast Pirate ships tried to bar their entry. Cannons roared — the blasts were swallowed by Heaven's Embrace's shimmering barrier.
Vegito didn't slow. "Smoothie, Custard — take the left. Kuina, Wanda — right. Bell-mère, middle with me."
Five minutes later, the blockade was drifting wreckage. Not one enemy survived conscious.
The Capital's Shock
They docked in Kuri, where news of Jack's mysterious defeat had already spread. Whispers rippled through the streets as Vegito and his crew walked openly toward the Flower Capital.
Children peeked from alleys. Merchants froze mid-transaction. Even the Oniwabanshu — the shogun's ninja — hesitated before trailing them.
Carrot bounced beside him. "Feels like everyone's staring."
"They are," Vegito said, grinning. "Let them. Today's the start of their freedom."
The Dragon Appears
It didn't take long for Kaido to notice the intrusion. His massive, coiling dragon form blotted out the sky, scales glinting in the sun.
"WHO DARES TRESPASS IN MY LAND?" his voice thundered.
Vegito cupped his hands to his mouth. "The guy who's about to knock you out of the sky!"
The Battle – Cinematic Scale
Kaido's first breath attack carved a molten trench through the ground — but Vegito wasn't there.
He appeared above the dragon's head, ki swirling around his fist. "Here's your wake-up call!"
The punch landed with a shockwave that shattered nearby mountains, slamming Kaido into the ground hard enough to rattle the Capital's gates.
The Beast Pirate army poured in from every direction. Mink electro sparked, swords flashed, and the crew cut through them like a tide of beauty and chaos.
The One-on-One
Kaido rose in his hybrid form, blood on his lip and a grin on his face. "You're strong. Good. I was getting bored."
Vegito smirked. "You're about to be unconscious."
The fight was pure spectacle — Kaido swinging his kanabo with enough force to level buildings, Vegito dodging with casual flips, countering with kicks that bent the air itself.
When Kaido tried to take to the sky again, Vegito grabbed his tail mid-flight and whipped him into the ocean.
The Coup de Grâce
As Kaido emerged, roaring, Vegito was already waiting above the water, hands cupped.
"Kamehameha… TIMES TEN!"
The beam engulfed Kaido entirely, blasting him through the ocean and into a cliff on the far side of Wano. When the dust settled, the dragon didn't move.
Liberation
The people of Wano poured into the streets, stunned. Some wept openly. Others fell to their knees.
Vegito looked around, tail flicking lazily. "You're free. Feed your people, rebuild your homes… and don't let anyone like him take over again."
The Resurrections
Then, in full view of Wano's stunned citizens, Vegito activated his revival ability.
From swirling columns of light emerged:
Gol D. Roger, tall and laughing as if he'd never left.
Portgas D. Rouge, serene and smiling.
Kozuki Oden, flamboyant even as he took in the crowd.
Kozuki Toki, her eyes soft as she spotted her children.
Nefertari D. Lili, regal and glowing with the aura of an ancient queen.
The capital erupted in disbelief and joy. Samurai dropped their swords in awe. The Kozuki retainers bowed until their foreheads touched the dirt.
Roger clapped Vegito on the back, laughing. "You've got style, kid! What's your game?"
"Changing the world," Vegito said simply.
The World Reacts
Even before the celebrations began, den-den mushi lines across the seas exploded with chatter.
In Mariejois, the Five Elders stared at the news reports in silent horror.
"He revived… Roger?!" Saturn's voice was tight.
Imu, hidden in the shadows of the Empty Throne, whispered one word: "…Unacceptable."
Wano's Festival
That night, Wano's skies lit up with fireworks. Sake flowed freely. Music filled the air.
Carrot danced with Wanda and Tristan. Robin discussed poneglyphs with Toki. Roger and Bell-mère swapped old pirate stories.
Oden tried to recruit Vegito into performing the "Oden Two-Sword Dance," and, to the crew's endless amusement, Vegito actually did it.
[Crew Roster Updated]
Nefertari D. Lili (Support / Political Alliance)
Roger, Oden, and others remain allies, not official crew members — for now.
