Evelyn's POV
I was thrown into the darkest dungeon without food or water. I couldn't tell if it was day or night.
But my scars itch even more from the heat. It was so unbearable that I grew numb to see my own blood in my hands..
"Evelyn, can you hear me?"
I knew exactly who it was by the voice but chose to stay quiet. He was certainly the last person I wanted to hear or see..
"Evelyn, I know you are here. Just answer me! Everywhere is so dark, I can't see anything!"
"Welcome to my life now, father," I said.
He wasn't the one locked behind bars without food or water and freezing temperatures…
"Evelyn my dear, I am really sorry. I want you to believe that I am working on something to get you out of here. Please, I'm really sorry this happened to you.."
"You are really sorry, is that so? You made me think that the seat of the lunar is rightfully mine!"
"And I fought for it as you told me to! You told me to always fight for what is mine, and I did that and look at me now!"
