I was just taking my bath when Joanna stepped into the bathroom. The water was cool and warm…
I almost didn't notice that Joanna was inside the house until she called my name..
"My lady, I have fantastic news."
Joanna was very excited, and I couldn't help but wonder what she was about to tell me..
"What is it, Joanna? You look very excited."
'The ladies in the court…they want to have a small party for you.."
"A party?"I said, completely confused. What exactly is she talking about, and why would they throw me a party?
"Why are they throwing me a party?"
"They want to apologize for not taking your side. According to what I heard this morning, what would happen to Lady Evelyn is being discussed in court."
I wasn't sure how to feel about that. It was a good sign that Alpha was taking it up.
Maybe it was time to get rid of the bad woman in the palace..
"So you're telling me that this is being discussed right now in court?"
