The court was in an uproar. They can not believe that the Alpha had Evelyn arrested on charges that could not be defended!
They were even more upset when they learned there was no concrete evidence pointing Evelyn towards the crime she was being accused of..
I allowed them to throw their tantrum like the little kids that they were. Before finally clearing my throat and allowing myself to speak..
"All of you act like a bunch of fools"
"That is no way to talk to council members, Alpha! You are being unnecessarily rude."
"If I call you out for acting appropriately, that is me being rude, but you can all call me names whenever you feel like it. I have done absolutely nothing wrong."
The court was silent as my accusations began to appear..
"Is that so? You give corrections for things that you are also guilty of.."
"That isn't what we meant, Alpha. We mean that Lady Evelyn should not be thrown into the dungeon! She's the daughter of a member of the court!"
