Rose was completely mesmerised to see the legendary Excalibur, right in front of him, as Albert wielded it. He had a huge smile on his face.
Rose: After all those years I spent searching for you...you finally bestow your presence upon me!!
Rose started walking towards the entrance, pissing off Lin. The warrior had a chance to go after Melissa and save her, but his ego got the better of him, as he charged towards Rose.
Lin: Your opponent.....IS ME!!!
Lin tried stabbing him from the back, but Rose simply flipped and softly landed on Lin's head, disrespecting him in combat. He then forcibly kicked him away and Lin crashed into the shelves ahead of him.
Rose: Shut up, weakling! I You are not worth it!
Almost in a crazed state, Rose walked towards Albert. Lin woke up again, his eyes in tears, raging with anger. There was a sense of disappointment in him. Disappointed with himself. Lin couldn't handle it anymore. He HAD to win against Rose to prove his strength. Not to anyone, but himself.
He slammed his palms in the ground and started running towards Rose, but the results were the same. Rose dodged every single strike, without even looking. He didn't even care about Lin. He kept walking towards the entrance, as Sarzar kept striking his lightning at Albert and Max, as they were busy dodging his relentless attacks.
Lin: How?? Why cant I win???!
Rose simply turned his head.
Rose: I told you already. You are just weak...
Rose then pulled out his sword and struck him with an amazing amount of force that shattered his armour and Lin flew across the room and was knocked out. Rose defeated Lin in one single sword strike, aimed to shatter his remaining armour.
With Lin out of the game, Rose walked slowly observing Apbert's swordplay. Olaf got up from the remains of the broken wooden table.
Olaf: Are you sure about this? We need to go after the witch, remember?
Rose: For now, I think Bjorn is enough to deal with her...
Olaf: Well, if you are gonna do something personal, I got something PERSONAL to do too..
Olaf turned to look at David, who was still in his fighting stance. David realised that this was life and death. Olaf still didn't have his sword, so David had a chance to fight and win. But the only difference was Olaf was aiming to kill. As Olaf charged, David got ready to defend.
Rose stretched his arm out, pointing his palm towards where Albert stood. Among the bright flashes of light, he could see the gem burning bright on the sword. And then he called to it.
Rose: Excalibur! Come to me!!
He stood there for the next few seconds and realised that nothing would happen. Albert still parried the random lightning strikes using his trusty sword.
Rose: Interesting. So it was true!! Excalibur would never listen to me...I should've known when I couldn't see its' "paths".
Rose pulled out his sword ready to fight Albert. He didn't care about Sarzar in the air. All he wanted was the Excalibur. He charged through the strikes aiming at Albert.
Meanwhile, Chuck had escaped and started moving through the library, searching for the red haired girl, who was his friend. He was in the air, flying a bit above the ground, thanks to the power of the Eternal Tome of Levitation. Soon Chuck realised that the library was fairly huge, so he had to check out every path himself. He trusted Lin to win against Rose, but unbeknownst to him, Lin had already lost. Yet thankfully, Rose was distracted by Albert.

Sarzar charged up once more and aimed at them. The lightning strikes were relentless, unbothered, unchecked. There was no mercy in him. Civilians all around them ran in every direction, trying to avoid being hit by it. Thankfully Sarzar was pre-occupied with his sense of revenge, that he focused only on the two before him. Still unintentional strikes happened knocking out a few pedestrians, who couldn't run away unfortunately. Some survived with minor injuries and continued running, while atleast three others were charred.
Max realized that he needed to get the villain out of there, so he strted running towards the empty field to his left. There were a small amount of trees in there, but since they weren't really connected to Seaside Edge, it didn't really affect that much if it caught on fire. Sarzar chased him, and Albert followed suit, and he realized that there was someone else behind him too. He quickly turned to block the sword attack by Commander Rose of the Floral Knights.
Sachika had hid behind one of the trees hoping to go into the library from one of the back doors, to help her husband. But the Ameliorate had stood in their way, so she had temporarily hid herself. She removed her back and checked through her contents to see of anything useful was available. But sadly, she didn't find anything to defeat a guy made out of lightning.
She then peeked out to see Max running in her direction, and her hiding spit was blown away. A huge lightning strike hit the tree, behind which she hid, and it started a small fire around the trees nearby.
Max and Sachika started running together, while Sarzar chased them, flying in the air.
Sachika: Why would you BRING HIM TOWARDS ME?!?!?
Max: Well, I didn't know you were there!!! How was I supposed to know??
Sachika: You saw me running to the side right??!??!
Max: I did NOT!
And then another strike hit behind them, so they started running even faster, ignoring their argument. As Sarzar flew behind them, he noticed that the Samurai was missing. He turned to see Albert blocking Rose, yet he didn't turn.
Sarzar: When I'm done with you, I'll get your blind friend as well. It's you that I'm more pissed at!!
Max: Oh come on!!!
Max continued running.
Rose landed on his feet and faced Albert.
Rose: You must be a Samurai. Greetings. I am Rose, of the Floral Knights. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
Albert: Well, I'm not pleased at all. You guys must be the ones against Melissa.
Rose smiled.
Rose: Oh I didn't realise that you were acquainted with the witch. Well, sorry for that...but she has to perish for the prosperity of the world...
Albert didn't utter a word. He knew that Rose was different. He realised that Lin was out cold.
Albert: Why are you here then? What do you want?
Rose: Oh, me?? I just want to take your mantle, and be the next Samurai!
